Her kit allegedly revolves around stacking up Core Resonance with her other abilities to restore Energy and increase the damage she deals to opponents. Despite the high cost for her Ultimate, reported to stand at 360 Energy, Saber is rumored to have gimmicks that automatically restore her entire Energy, so players may have to master those techniques to make her more effective in battle. This new character in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 has the potential to become one of the strongest Wind DPS units, thanks to her high offensive stats, which can be further improved with the correct build.

The Materials Are Subject To Change, So Pre-Farming Can Be As Risky As It Is Rewarding

Before taking advantage of her full potential, you will need to fully Ascend and level the character and her abilities. Luckily, you can prepare for that by pre-farming Saber’s materials. The character’s materials have allegedly leaked via the Version 3.4 beta tests, and are ed on the Saber in Honkai: Star Rail.

As such, pre-farming some materials may be risky, as HoYoverse can still alter the items she uses for her Ascension and Traces. Even so, pre-farming is still a pretty good idea, as it essentially allows you to instantly upgrade the character to their full base potential as soon as you obtain them. According to the leak, most of the materials used by Saber are old items that have been available since launch – perhaps in an attempt to facilitate upgrading her for any new players who start playing the turn-based RPG because of the Fate collab in Honkai: Star Rail.

Most Of The Leaked Materials Are Easy To Farm

According to the leak, the first set of materials to pre-farm for Saber is composed of Thief’s Instinct, Usurper’s Scheme, and Conqueror’s Will. These three items are enemy drops obtained from Antimatter Legion enemies, including the various types of Voidrangers, Baryon, Antibaryon, and Abundance Lotus. The best way to farm Thief’s Instinct, Usurper’s Scheme, and Conqueror’s Will is to face Calyx (Golden) activities on Jarilo-VI, as there is a guaranteed drop rate for Thief’s Instinct. You can also gain these Saber materials from the Simulated and Divergent Universe activities.

As Saber’s Ascension needs increase, don’t forget to use the Omni-Synthesizer in Honkai: Star Rail to transform lower-grade items into rarer ones. Three Thief’s Instinct can be converted into one Usurper’s Scheme, and three of these can be transformed into one Conqueror’s Will.

The next material to pre-farm for Saber, as listed in the leak, is A Glass of the Besotted Era, which is exclusively used by some Wind characters in the game. A Glass of the Besotted Era can be farmed by facing the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gloam activity in the Penacony Grand Theater map. If you have yet to unlock the map, there is no need to worry, as you can still farm these materials. For reference, A Glass of the Besotted Era is an Ascension material for Hyacine in Honkai: Star Rail, as well as Feixiao and Anaxa.

In total, you’ll need 308,000 Credits to unlock all the Ascension thresholds, as well as an extra 508,000 Credits to level up Saber with Character EXP Materials. In addition to the traditional farming methods for these items, you can also purchase a limited amount of Thief’s Instinct from the Embers Exchange shop every month. You can also farm extra Thief’s Instinct every day by dispatching characters on the correct Assignment, which grants it as a reward for completion. Unless you’ve been playing since launch, don’t underestimate the amount of these materials that are needed for Saber’s Traces.

For more advanced Traces, Saber’s material needs will start requiring the weekly boss material Destroyer’s Final Road. This material can be farmed by facing the Doomsday Beast weekly boss in the Echo of War: Destruction’s Beginning activity. This type of activity can be faced three times a week, so pre-farming could get you ready for Saber’s release in Version 3.4. Saber’s advanced Traces will also require Tracks of Destiny, a material that can be farmed from the Simulated or Divergent Universes every week. You can also get more Tracks of Destiny from specific events and reputation systems.

You can also purchase Tracks of Destiny from the Embers Exchange shop every month, as well as from the Starlight Exchange.

Lastly, Saber will require a grand total of 3,000,000 Credits for all of her Traces to be unlocked and duly leveled.
