Tingyun is the clever 4-Star Foxian Merchant that the Main Character encounters on The Xianzhou Luofu in Honkai Star Rail. If you are lucky enough right now to pull her from the Beginner Warp Banner, consider using her Harmony Path abilities on your team. Tingyun is an excellent choice for battle since her abilities revolve around buffing allies' Energy Gauges and Attacks. On top of the perk of Energy Regeneration, her Skill: Soothing Melody gives enemies an added Lightning Element attached to the ally's next move.

As previously mentioned, right now the only way of obtaining this character in Honkai: Star Rail is through using the Beginner Warp Banner. However, with the game's early discount, some patience, and fast ways to farm Stellar Jade, Tingyun will be welcomed onto their team. She is key to a very fast and strong early game and a potential pick to Ascend to the max for the end-game content right now. Building upon her Eidolons as well is also recommenced since they increase her buffing abilities further. If players are not looking at the Seele Banner in Version 1.0 and want another viable option for end-game content, saving resources to get her is a good idea.

Best Relics and Ornaments for Tingyun

Relic Sets that are recommended for Tingyun to increase her Attack and Energy Regeneration-1

Relic Sets for Tingyun increase her Base Attack Stat so that she and her allies can deal more damage. According to Josh Broadwell from vg247, there is no single 4-Piece Relic set that accompanies her kit. Therefore, it is recommended to use the Band of the Sizzling Thunder and the Musketeer of Wild Wheat in their 2-Piece Bonus Sets.

Alternatively, because of Tingyun's low Defense stats and important buffs, players can switch their relics for Guard of Wuthering Snow with Damage reduction and Energy Regeneration. For Planetar Ornaments, the Space Sealing Station is used for Attack while the Sprightly Vonwacq is used for Energy Regeneration. Keep in mind that both of these Relic sets must have Tingyun's Speed over a specific threshold.

Trace Priority for Tingyun

Trace Priority for Tingyun in HonkaiStar Rail and her skills that involve buffing allies for more Attack

For Tingyun's build in Honkai: Star Rail, the priority for Traces depends on where you are in the game. For example, increasing Tingyun's Nourished Joviality first will increase her Speed, making her gain turn priority on the field. Players can also unlock her Knell Subdual first or second which helps her basic attack damage.

After continuously unlocking all of her Traces, according to YouTuber smecksu, her increase in stat totals will be +22.5% Defense, +24% Attack, and +8% Lightning Damage. Finally, her Trace Skill that gives her 5 Energy at the start of her turn, Jubilant age must be leveled as her Ultimate is one of the best moves in her kit.
