Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail.
Version 3.2 will also overlap with the game’s second anniversary, and as confirmed by the developer HoYoverse, there are a lot of celebration events planned for the period. As such, players will have a lot to do during the six-week update, but some attention is already shifting toward the future. Some leaks about Version 3.3 have already started to emerge, and although they do not stem from the regular beta tests, which provide more concrete information, important details are arriving, such as the minutiae of Cipher’s gameplay kit in Honkai: Star Rail, a character who has been confirmed by HoYoverse.
New Weekly Boss May Be Added To Honkai: Star Rail 3.3
The Rumors Indicate That The Battle May Get New Items
Now, a new leak about content in Version 3.3 has arrived. According to information provided by the leaker known as Sakura Haven, Version 3.3 will introduce the next weekly boss challenge. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. The information provided by Sakura Haven also states that Version 3.4 should introduce a new batch of items in the battle , referred to as a “refresh.” The leaker states that the Version 3.3 update shouldn’t contain these new items in Honkai: Star Rail.

Despite Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Pointing At This Unexpected Character Becoming Playable, I’m Not Convinced
There are rumors about a new playable character in Honkai: Star Rail’s future, but I’m particularly unconvinced that their release will happen.
While a batch of new items in the battle is promising, as these items are likely new Light Cones, the rumors about a new weekly boss challenge are extremely enticing. The last weekly boss to be introduced was Shadow of Feixiao in the Echo of War: Inner Beast’s Battlefield. This boss challenge was added with the Version 2.5 update last year. This means that the game has gone through five patches without a new activity of this type and, therefore, without any new weekly boss materials in Honkai: Star Rail, but that may change with Version 3.3.
New Honkai: Star Rail Characters May Use The Leaked Boss's Materials
Approximately Five New Characters Are Anticipated, Starting With Version 3.3
The leak about a new weekly boss fight naturally implicates the arrival of a new weekly boss material to use in the character’s Trace-leveling processes, and this item, per se, may serve a load of new characters. This is because HoYoverse has already confirmed that Hyacine and Cipher as new 5-star units for Version 3.3, and it’s quite possible that either or both of them will use this leaked boss’s materials. It’s possible that the Phase 1 banner character, likely Hyacine in Honkai: Star Rail, will use an older weekly boss material, but Cipher will likely use the new one.
It’s speculated that Hyacine will debut in Phase 1 because she was announced before Cipher.
In addition to these characters, there are also heavy rumors about more characters arriving soon. There are leaks that indicate that Phainon will be released in Version 3.4, and if this is true, he will also likely use the newest weekly boss material. Furthermore, there are also leaks about the Fate collab characters in Honkai: Star Rail being introduced with Version 3.4 – even if they are introduced in Version 3.5, it would make sense for them to use the most recent weekly boss material rather than older ones, unless their stories are linked to older destinations.
Limitations Imposed Over Weekly Bosses In Honkai: Star Rail Demand Farming Hastily
The Boss Will Likely Only Be Fought Thrice Per Week
The big issue with this leak is that players will likely have to hastily start farming this rumored weekly boss’s materials, especially with all the character releases in the pipeline. All the aforementioned Chrysos Heirs, especially Phainon, are heavily anticipated by the community – Phainon’s release is awaited because of his relevance to the story. Additionally, the Fate collab characters are also highly anticipated, so if players intend to obtain at least one of these units (possibly more), they will need to start farming as soon as the rumored boss arrives in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3.

Honkai: Star Rail's Amphoreus Leaks Say Character's True Form May Not Be Playable, But An Boss
New Honkai: Star Rail leaks have allegedly showcased the true form of an Amphoreus character, which may become a boss to face in the campaign.
Echo of War activities are extremely limited, and players can, essentially, only farm the same boss thrice per week. With a cap on how many of the material drops per boss fight, if players are aiming for multiple of these characters who potentially use the item, they will have to spend subsequent weeks only facing this boss fight. Of course, more reliable information about these characters and their materials should emerge as the Version 3.3 beta tests start and more leaks about Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 and beyond emerge.
