The Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail.
The start of the Version 3.3 beta tests, however, is fueling an influx of information about the following update. While the developer has already confirmed the two new characters that are set to the roster in Version 3.3, the leaks have already started to describe their respective gameplay kits. Aside from playable characters, the Version 3.3 leaks have also highlighted details about other important tweaks, such as an update to the Memory of Chaos in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3, as well as a possible new weekly boss encounter, which will, consequently, add a new material for players to farm.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.3 Has Two New Characters Who Are Confirmed
Hyacine & Cipher Will Debut In The Next Update
As was previously mentioned, HoYoverse has already confirmed two new playable characters for the patch: Hyacine and Cipher. Both characters were teased via drip marketing posts made through posts on the official Honkai: Star Rail pages on social media, such as Instagram. Hyacine is confirmed to be a 5-star Wind character following the Path of the Remembrance, while Cipher is a 5-star Quantum unit on the Path of the Nihility. Other than those pieces of gameplay information and lore details, HoYoverse hasn’t revealed more about the characters in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3.

My Absurd Genshin Impact Theory May Be Closer To Being True Than Ever Before
While HoYoverse has made efforts to keep Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail separate, I’m convinced that both universes will blend in the future.
In fact, while the community considers drip marketing official confirmation for character releases in the next patch, it is not exactly that, as HoYoverse still has the liberty to change the order of their releases before the respective patch’s livestream is held. Even so, we can consider Hyacine and Cipher to be the new characters because of how HoYoverse markets its units. The order in which they will be released during the update is still unconfirmed, but a new leak has revealed the Phase orders and even the rerun characters scheduled for banner appearances in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3.
Leaked Phase 1 Character Banners In Honkai: Star Rail 3.3
Hyacine May Become Castorice’s Best Healer
According to information from the leaker known as HomDGCat, Hyacine will debut in Phase 1 banners, while Cipher will debut in Phase 2. The leaker, whose information was shared in a “Reliable” post on Reddit, shows that The Herta and Aglaea are set for their first reruns in the banners, though they don’t specify in which banner phase each character will appear. This rumor is sustained by another leaker, Sakura Haven, who also stated (as shown in a Reddit post) that The Herta will rerun in Phase 1, while Aglaea should appear in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3’s Phase 2 banners.
Sakura Haven mentions that leakers don’t usually share this information too early on as banners have a high chance of being adjusted before the official confirmation through the livestream, but that the information, as of now, is accurate.
If the leaks are truly correct, Hyacine and The Herta will be the featured 5-star units in Phase 1. As was mentioned, Hyacine is a Remembrance character, but the leaks indicate that she will take on the role of a healer. According to Hyacine’s leaked kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3, the character can summon a memosprite called Ica and, along with them, provide continuous healing to allies. The leaks say that both Hyacine’s Skill and Ultimate can heal allies, though her Ultimate puts her in the Petrichoric Clear Skies state for three turns.
In this state, Hyacine is rumored to increase the Max HP of all allies. Furthermore, Hyacine can allegedly contribute to the team’s damage output, as the game keeps a tally of Hyacine’s and Ica’s healing and then deals damage based on a percentage of that healing. Hyacine is also said to be a quick healer, as she can allegedly increase her Outgoing Healing through her SPD. Based on the leaks, it’s expected that Hyacine will become the best healer for Castorice’s teams in Honkai: Star Rail, and a lot of that is due to her Max HP buff to allies.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2: Should You Pull For Castorice Or Anaxa?
Castorice and Anaxa are making their debut in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, and while both units are great, the two characters have pros and cons.
Meanwhile, The Herta has already consolidated herself as one of the best Erudition characters. A multi-target striker, she is at her best when put up against several opponents at once, which makes her versatile for both normal content and endgame content like Memory of Chaos or Pure Fiction. The Herta also works especially well with other Erudition characters and units centered around follow-up attacks. The Herta’s build in Honkai: Star Rail can be somewhat difficult to achieve in perfection thanks to many stat requirements, but she does have a lot of Light Cone options should you skip her signature weapon.

Cipher Could Be An Ally For Acheron
Cipher, on the other hand, is expected to operate as a mix between a main DPS, sub-DPS, and debuffer. The leaks about Cipher’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail mention that she can weaken opponents, reducing their DMG dealt. Additionally, Cipher is rumored to deal a lot of damage through her rotation, and True DMG. As a debuffer, Cipher focuses on a target and applies the Regular Customer status on them. When they are attacked by allies, Cipher then launches follow-up attacks against them in Honkai: Star Rail.

After Seeing Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 Leaks, It Looks Like Blade's Buffs May Be Worthless With New Fate Collab Character
Blade’s buff in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 has long been anticipated, but it may be instantly powercrept by the release of a new Fate collab character.
Based on the leaks, Cipher will be an agile DPS who can increase her own CRIT Rate based on her SPD. Lastly, the leaks say that Cipher can reduce all enemies’ DEF by simply being on the field. It’s expected that Cipher will be a good unit to run alongside Acheron, for example, as a secondary Nihility DPS unit that fuels Acheron’s Ultimate, debuffs, but also contributes to the team’s damage output. She may not substitute fully dedicated debuffers like Jiaoqiu or Pela, for example, but Cipher may be an alternative to Kafka or Black Swan in Honkai: Star Rail.
If the leaks are true and Aglaea reruns in Version 3.3’s Phase 2, players will have the chance to get one of the strongest Lightning DPS units in the game. While those who already own Acheron may be inclined to skip her, those who don’t have a reliable Lightning DPS and are looking for a character to run with Sunday could consider Aglaea. The Remembrance character is fast and scales off both ATK and SPD, making her strike first and hard. Using the right build and Aglaea’s best team comp in Honkai: Star Rail can make her your best DPS.
It’s worth keeping in mind that Aglaea’s ideal build can be a bit tough to achieve because of her many stat requirements, which include SPD, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK, Lightning DMG Bonus, and Energy Regeneration Rate.
Overall, the lineup of characters for Version 3.3’s banners is extremely positive if they prove to be true. They include some of the best DPS in the game and what could become the best healer for Castorice and Mydei, and while Cipher hasn’t convinced me entirely just yet, she has the potential to become a great ally for Acheron’s team comps, who is one of my mains. The leaks should be considered with caution as banner structures are highly subject to change, but Honkai: Star Rail 3.3 may be promising.
