A leak about a new 4-star character in Anaxa's leaked gameplay kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, for example.
The rumors indicate that both Anaxa and Castorice will be released as the new 5-star characters in Version 3.2, even if the specific details about each of their kits are still somewhat scarce. There are some leaks saying Anaxa is a Wind character on the Path of the Erudition, while Castorice is said to be a Quantum character on the Path of the Remembrance. So far, there have only been mentions of Anaxa and Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, but a newer leak may have just confirmed the addition of a third new character in the future patch.
Mr. Reca May Become A 4-Star Character In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2
The Memokeeper Has Long Been Awaited As A Playable Character
As seen in a new leak, Mr. Reca, who had already appeared as an NPC in Penacony, is set for release as a 4-star unit. According to information provided by the leaker known as Uncle Hellgirl, which was shared in a post flagged as “Questionable” on sustain character in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail Leaks: Amphoreus Character May Be Yet Another Surprise For Welt
A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has put the spotlight on an Amphoreus character design, which may resemble yet another figure from Welt’s past.
If this is true, it should prove that Remembrance is one of the most versatile Paths in the game, with characters being capable of taking on different roles in parties, whereas other Paths feel a bit more constricted to specific tasks – Remembrance characters’ specialties are summoning memosprites, and these summons can have different effects in battle. Mr. Reca is a memokeeper who was officially introduced during the Trailblaze Continuance mission “Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity” set in Penacony in Version 2.6, the same patch that introduced Rappa to Honkai: Star Rail.
Mr. Reca May Be The First New 4-Star In Honkai: Star Rail Since Moze
Additionally, He May Also Be The First New Healer Since Lingsha
If the leaks about Mr. Reca’s release in Version 3.2 are true, then he will be the first new 4-star playable character since the release of Moze, which occurred months ago. For reference, Moze’s release as a playable character was in Version 2.5, which arrived in September 2024. As such, the turn-based RPG has not introduced any new 4-star characters since then, despite significantly expanding its roster with several 5-star units. Most recently, Version 3.0 saw the introductions of the Remembrance Trailblazer, The Herta, and Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail, all of which are 5-star units.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: HP-Loss May Be Here To Stay Long After Mydei's Release
A new leak about Pure Fiction in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 shows that characters who lose HP may get a minor yet significant buff to their performances.
Mr. Reca’s rumored status as a healer is good news for players, especially because of his leaked 4-star status. Despite being a Remembrance character, the game hasn’t seen any new healers since the release of Lingsha, a 5-star Fire Abundance character who also debuted in Version 2.5. Prior to that, the other most recent healer was Gallagher, who was released in Version 2.1. Even if the current healers in the game do a good job, it does need more healers who are up-to-date with the current mechanics. A Remembrance healer in Honkai: Star Rail seems like a perfect fit.
Not only would HoYoverse be supplementing the lack of more healers in the game, but it would also be expanding its roster of Remembrance characters, which is still much shorter than the list of characters on any other Path. Furthermore, a new 4-star character is also good news. While 4-star units are often weaker than 5-stars, they are arguably easier to obtain, which means players not only have a better chance at pulling for them but also increasing their Eidolon levels in Honkai: Star Rail.
After a 4-star character is released and the increased pull rate in their debut banner is over, they are incorporated into every other banner’s possible loot pool.
For now, the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as they may be incorrect or subject to changes. Mr. Reca’s release as a playable character has been debated even before he was shown as an NPC in Version 2.6, but it seems like he may finally make his way into players’ rosters. If Mr. Reca is truly planned for release in Version 3.2, it should not take too long for HoYoverse to make an announcement for him via drip marketing in Honkai: Star Rail.
