A huge story spoiler in Sunday and Fugue’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail, for instance, have leaked.
The gameplay kits for the two highly-anticipated characters have also been leaked, showing how they may operate in team comps. In addition to the characters’ playable versions, other details about Version 2.7 have also been leaked. This includes mentions of some of the events for the patch and their respective rewards. For example, players may get access to a free character in Honkai: Star Rail 2.7, as shown in a leak. Now, another piece of rumored information has arisen, highlighting what seems like a major story spoiler for the patch that should affect the campaign in the future.

The Character’s Model Features A Special Ticket Held Only By The Nameless
According to information obtained by the leaker known as Donut, Sunday’s character model features a ticket to the Astral Express, indicating he may become a member of the Nameless during Version 2.7. The leaked image was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. The image does not show exactly where the ticket is on Sunday’s character model, but it is featured as part of his outfit. Only of the Astral Express have access to the ticket, which could mean he will become a permanent member of the Nameless moving forward in Honkai: Star Rail’s campaign.

In another piece of information provided by Donut, the leaker clarifies the image. In the post shared on Astral Express in Honkai: Star Rail 2.7.
All characters who are part of the Astral Express crew have the ticket featured in some part of their models. Trailblazer’s ticket is featured on their lapel collar, for example, while Himeko’s is attached to the right side of her coat.
Sunday’s Leaked Addition To The Astral Express In Honkai: Star Rail Is Unexpected
The Character Was A Major Antagonist In Penacony
If Sunday truly has an Astral Express ticket attached to some part of their character model, this could truly imply he will become a member of the Nameless and, therefore, tag along with the crew in future expeditions. This is, however, highly unexpected. The first reason is that Sunday would become the first new member of the Astral Express since the protagonist, who is found on Herta Space Station, and naturally becomes a member due to their lack of affiliation to any other faction. Sunday, on the other hand, is tightly connected to Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail.
Not only does he have a prior connection, but Sunday is also a criminal. The former head of the Oak Family attempted to stage a coup on Penacony and install the Order as the reigning Path in the Planet of Festivities. While his intentions were not evil in nature, as he wished to protect the local populace from reality, Sunday’s plan was to trap everyone within a dream. This, of course, would take away people’s free will and ability to grow through the endurance of the harsh realities of the universe portrayed in Honkai: Star Rail.

Why You Should Pay Attention To Honkai: Star Rail 2.6's Simulated Universe Illustrations
New artwork is being added to Honkai: Star Rail in Version 2.6 thanks to the new Simulated Universe: Unknowable Domain expansion module.
Sunday gave into the Order to become the Harmonious Choir: The Great Septimus boss, who was the key to forcing everyone into a dream on Penacony. His plans, however, were thwarted by the efforts of the Astral Express crew in combination with the assistance of other allies, such as Firefly, Acheron, Boothill, and even the Xianzhou Luofu’s forces. Upon his defeat, Sunday was imprisoned in Penacony and his fate was left unknown as the Nameless did not reencounter him after crushing him in battle. So far, the idea is that Sunday is imprisoned for his crimes in Honkai: Star Rail.
If Sunday is to the Astral Express in Version 2.7, Sunday will need to go through a serious redemption arc. Even if his motivations were never truly evil and he was manipulated by the Dreammaster, his actions do deserve punishment – and that punishment could come in the form of service to the Astral Express. While the first guess is that he would the star-cruising train as an ally, he may actually the Nameless as a means to distance himself from Penacony and start working on his redemption among Honkai: Star Rail characters who could contain him.
Sunday In The Astral Express Could Pave The Way For Other Honkai: Star Rail Characters
Future Allies Could Become Nameless
In addition to possibly becoming a valuable complement to the crew himself, Sunday’s leaked addition to the Astral Express could pave the way for other characters to the Nameless in the future. If Sunday’s story spoiler is true, the Astral Express will have a member from each of the playable Paths, except for the Abundance. As such, Sunday’s addition to the crew could indicate that the next Astral Express member will be a healer of sorts. Of course, this is only the case if HoYoverse wants to fill up the Astral Express with all Paths in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: New Enemies May Finally Play With Meta Team Comps
The order of characters in team comps may start to matter even more with the arrival of new enemies in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 and beyond.
Regardless of Paths, specifically, future allies that the Astral Express crew makes could all, potentially, the Nameless if Sunday sets the precedent in Version 2.7. There was a moment during the Penacony arc that felt like Acheron could the crew, even if temporarily, though that did not come to fruition and they eventually parted paths. However, that may not be the case for future characters that players meet in the game’s fourth world in Version 3.0.
For now, the leak about Sunday’s rumored Astral Express ticket should be taken with a grain of salt. The leak may be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change. The rumors that it is hidden in his outfit could be a simple case of a misplaced texture asset and it could be corrected before his official release. Nonetheless, the prospect of the Astral Express crew growing with new allies is extremely enticing and could mean a lot for the future of Honkai: Star Rail.
