A new artwork of Herta has been officially showcased and leaks by Ubatcha shared on Reddit indicate that is representative of Herta’s true self, which may be reflected in her leaked 5-star form upon release in a future Honkai: Star Rail update.

In fact, a leak that was shared on X (formerly Twitter) mentions that both 5-star Herta and Aglaea will be released in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0. Aglaea is another character that has long been rumored and leaked.

With the turn-based RPG already set to enter Version 2.6 and expectations limiting the year of content up until Version 2.8, players may not have to wait too long before they start getting more concrete leaks on Herta’s 5-star form. With each patch lasting six weeks, Version 3.0 may arrive on February 26, 2025. This calculation does not for possible delays or shorter or longer patches. With the increasing number of leaks and now an artwork that can be interpreted as a teaser, it seems likely that Herta’s rumored 5-star may soon make an appearance in the game.

While it does not seem like she will continue to be a follow-up specialist, the leak says she will mark opponents with her Skill, and they will detonate, dealing damage to them and adjacent targets, while spreading the mark to the adjacent enemies for more detonations.

5-star Herta’s rumored Ultimate is said to hit all opponents and grant her a buff for her Skill. Lastly, the leak says the character restores Energy and gains an ATK buff when her allies use their Ultimates. These leaks indicate that the 5-star version of Herta may be a main DPS character as opposed to her 4-star form, which operates as a follow-up attack sub-DPS in team comps.

Of course, all of these leaks, from her release to her gameplay kit, should be taken with a grain of salt. The 5-star version of Herta is not even confirmed, and it may simply not exist. Even if the leaks are reliable, the details about her design to her abilities may also be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change.
