19 Kevin McCallister

Kevin McCallister is the lead character in Home Alone, Home Alone 2, and Home Alone 4. Taking into consideration only what happens in the first two films, which maintain a continuity with each other, Kevin is the youngest of Peter and Kate McCallister's 5 children. He has four older siblings, with whom he doesn’t get along well. In addition to not having the best relationship with his brothers and sisters, Kevin feels completely misunderstood by his entire family, which includes his uncle and aunt, his parents, and his cousins. The of his family with whom he clashes the most are his brother Buzz and his Uncle Frank.

18 Peter McCallister

Peter McCallister is Kevin’s dad in Home Alone, and he is played by John Heard in first two movies, and by Jason Beghe in the fourth film. Once again, focusing only on the events of the first two original films, he is married to Kate, and they have five children together: Buzz, Megan, Linnie, Jeff, and Kevin. Even though his occupation is unknown in the first two movies, there are some hilarious unofficial Home Alone fan theories on the internet. Peter has two brothers: Frank, who lives in Ohio, and Rob McCallister, who used to live in New York but now lives in Paris.

17 Kate McCallister

Kate McCallister is Kevin’s mother and Peter’s wife. She is played in the first two movies by Catherine O’Hara, and by Clare Carey in the fourth movie. Keeping in mind only the information given in the first two movies, it is fair to say that not many details are given away about her side of the family. It can be assumed that she has a mother, referred to as Grandma Penelope in the second movie. Kate is married to Peter, and they have 5 children, including Kevin. Being the mother in two movies about a lost child, she plays a very important role searching for Kevin, which makes her the most relevant member of the family.

16 Buzz McCallister

Buzz McCallister is Kevin’s older brother. He is played in the first two movies by Devin Ratray, and by Gideon Jacobs in the fourth film. In addition to this, Buzz has a cameo during Home Sweet Home Alone, making him the only member of the McCallister family with a part in 2021 franchise reboot, which, by the way, also ignores the events from the fourth movie. Buzz is Kevin’s nemesis; he has a bullying personality and does not seem to care much about his brother. From the events of the first film, it can be assumed that Buzz has a girlfriend.

15 Megan McCallister

Although Megan McCallister is Kevin’s older sister, she is younger than Buzz. In other words, she is Peter and Kate’s second child. Megan seems to be the only sibling who is at least a little protective of Kevin. Regarding that matter, when the whole family is in Paris in Home Alone, she is the one who tells Buzz she is worried about something happening to her little brother. She appears in Home Alone and Home Alone 2 portrayed by Hillary Wolf, and in Home Alone 4 portrayed by Chelsea Russo.

14 Linnie McCallister

Linnie McCallister is Kevin’s older sister. She is Peter and Kate’s third child, so she's older than Kevin, but younger than Megan and Buzz. There’s not much information given about Linnie, but she certainly has one of the most iconic Home Alone quotes when she says “Kevin, you are what the French call ‘les incompetents’”. In the second movie, she has very little relevance, and her character does not exist in the fourth movie. Linnie is played by Angela Hoethals in the first movie, and by Maureen Elisabeth Shay in the second movie, being the only member of the family played by two different actors in the first two films.

13 Jeff McCallister

Jeff McCallister is Peter and Kate’s fourth son. He is only older than Kevin, so he probably puts all his energy into bullying the only member of the family he can. In a particularly mean moment, Jeff is the one who tells Kevin he is a disease after the kitchen incident in Home Alone. Jeff appears in the first and second films, and his character, as well as Linnie’s, does not exist in the fourth film. He is portrayed by Michael C. Maronna.

12 Frank “Uncle Frank” McCallister

Frank “Uncle Frank” McCallister is Peter’s older brother. He has two younger brothers: Peter and Rob. From what Kate tells Harry disguised as a cop in the opening sequence of the first film, it can be assumed that Frank and his family live in Ohio. Uncle Frank is the family member who hates Kevin the most. He is married to Leslie, and they have 4 children together: Tracy, Sondra, Brooke, and Fuller. Uncle Frank only appears in the first two original movies and is portrayed by Gerry Bamman.

11 Leslie “Aunt Leslie” McCallister

Leslie “Aunt Leslie” McCallister is Uncle Frank’s wife and Kevin’s Aunt. She is not blood-related to Kevin as she is Peter’s sister-in-law. There is not much information given about her in the movies, but she is always trying to correct her husband whenever he does something wrong, or ing Kate in her desperation. She has 4 children with Uncle Frank: Tracy, Sondra, Brooke, and Fuller. Leslie appears in both Home Alone and Home Alone 2, and is portrayed by Terrie Snell.

10 Tracy McCallister

Tracy McCallister is Uncle Frank and Aunt Leslie’s oldest daughter, and Kevin’s cousin. She has three siblings: Sondra, Brook, and Fuller. She is a very small character, and it is assumable that she has a thing for cosmetics since in Home Alone she asks her mother about shampoo, while in Home Alone 2, she asks her sister about sunblock. She appears in the first two original movies and is portrayed by Senta Moses.
