Fresh off the heels of iconic P.T., which wasn't even a full-length title but instead simply a demo experience which could take players anywhere from one to four hours to complete.

Meant to tease the next installment of the beloved Silent Hill project was cancelled. Not only were fans disappointed at the game's cancellation, but they were also upset they could no longer P.T. at all, which many felt was an incredible experience in its own right.

Now, the gaming community is getting hints from Kojima himself on the developer's Death Stranding was released, but fans will be pleased to know he'll be working on another spooky game regardless.

While Kojima Productions, the Kojima Productions' first release on their own, and has gone on to be the biggest IP launch Japan has had this console generation.

Fans love Kojima just as much as they love his games, and have enjoyed seeing him thrive with the creative freedom such independence has given him and his team. They may have to wait a good long while for the next release after Death Stranding, but at least they will have something amazing, and probably terrifying, to look forward to.
