As Helldivers 2 continues to receive updates, the latest Warbond promises to give players some new, cowboy-themed gear. Since its initial launch in early 2024, Helldivers 2 has kept a consistent update schedule, with a steady stream of patches introducing new content and bug fixes, Major Orders to provide playerbase-wide objectives, and Warbonds to give players new equipment and cosmetics. New Warbonds can be unlocked by spending Super Credits, a currency that can be acquired in-game or purchased with real-world money.
The new Warbond Borderline Justice ready to drop, some new gear might be able to contend with old favorites.
When Helldivers 2 Borderline Justice Warbond Releases
Borderline Justice Releases On March 20
As announced on Steam, the Borderline Justice Warbond for Helldivers 2 will be released on March 20, bringing with it new armor and weapons, a new stratagem, and a new ive booster for players to equip in their pre-mission loadout screen. Alongside the Warbond, a new armor set, cape, emote, and player banner will be made available in the in-game Superstore, to be purchased separately from the Warbond itself at the cost of additional Super Credits.
The release of new Warbonds typically coincides with a new rotation in the Super Store, so Borderline Justice can be expected to launch sometime around 2:00AM PST/5:00AM EST on March 20.
The pricing of Borderline Justice hasn't been announced, but it can be expected to cost the standard Warbond price of 1,000 Super Credits, which translates to about 10 U.S. dollars if purchased solely with real money. Like other Warbonds, Borderline Justice can also be expected to include 300 unlockable Super Credits, allowing players to partially recoup the cost, whether they pay with real money or through farming free in-game Super Credits.
New Weapons In Borderline Justice Warbond
Helldivers 2's Newest Warbond Brings Two New Weapons And A New Throwable
Of the additions brought by the Borderline Justice Warbond, the two new weapons and new throwable will likely be the biggest draw for most players. Fitting in with the cowboy theme of the Warbond, Borderline Justice will provide players with the LAS-58 Talon sidearm, the R-6 Deadeye primary weapon, and the TED-63 Dynamite throwable, providing one piece of gear for each of a player's three main loadout slots.

Helldivers 2 Tried Bigger Squads In Development, & Now I Totally Get Why They Were Cut
Helldivers 2 almost had bigger squads, allowing more people to play together. Fortunately, it was cut down, and for a very important reason.
One of the main focuses of the Warbond, the LAS-58 Talon, is an energy-based revolver, meaning that it will operate off a similar overheating system to other energy weapons and should have essentially unlimited ammo. The exact stats of the weapon won't be confirmed until the Warbond is released, but as a relatively heavy, slow-firing secondary weapon, players might expect it to function similarly to the game's more conventional revolver, the P-4 Senator, which has high accuracy and armor penetration.
Building on the cowboy theme of the Warbond, the R-6 Deadeye is a lever-action rifle seemingly intended for sniping enemy weak points at long range. As shown in the trailer, the Deadeye will come with a scope, and seems most similar to other primary weapons like the Diligence and Diligence Counter Sniper. Finally, the TED-63 Dynamite seems to more or less a grenade with an adjustable timer, to tune when it detonates.
New Armor In Borderline Justice Warbond
Borderline Justice's Two New Armor Sets Introduce A Unique ive Effect
Along with the new weapons, Borderline Justice will also include two new armor sets, the GS-17 Frontier Marshal medium armor, and the GS-66 Lawmaker heavy armor, along with their respective helmets and two new capes. Unfortunately, neither armor set will include a cowboy hat, and the Warbond itself lacks a light armor option - although the GS-11 Democracy's Duty armor set that will be available in the Super Store seems intended to fill that niche.

Helldivers 2 - How To Defeat The Illuminate
Helldivers 2's recent update has introduced The Illuminate, a third enemy faction whose defensive tactics make them difficult to defeat in missions.
Both armor sets included in the Warbond will give players the new Gunslinger ive when worn, buffing their secondary weapons with faster reloads, faster weapon swapping, and reduced recoil, making it a good set for players who want to make use of their secondary weapon as more than just an emergency last resort. Notably, however, the armor ive may not synergize perfectly with the energy-based Talon in the same Warbond, as players tend to use energy weapons in a way that means they never have to reload.
New Stratagem & Items In Borderline Justice
A New Hover Pack And Several Cosmetics Round Out The Warbond
Finally, Borderline Justice will include one new stratagem, one new ive booster, and some new cosmetics, including two player banners, an emote, and a new player title. The stratagem is the LIFT-860 Hover Pack, a backpack that functions similarly to the Jump Pack, but allows players to hover in the air instead of giving them one big jump. While hovering, players can still shoot, making the Hover Pack potentially a good option for staying out of the reach of melee enemies.
The new booster is the Sample Extricator, which gives a chance for a sample to drop whenever players kill a "big enemy." Which kinds of samples can be dropped, how often, and from specifically which types of enemies is currently unknown, but the booster should be a good option for any players that still need to farm samples for their ship upgrades - although it's potentially useless for players who've already fully upgraded.
As with every Warbond, Borderline Justice will also include some bonus cosmetics - two new player banners, Reaper of Bounties and Covering Fire, a new emote, Tip Hat, to allow players to tip their nonexistent hat, and a new title, Super Sheriff.
Notably, although the contents of Borderline Justice look exciting, it, like Servants of Freedom, contains less content than previously released Warbonds. This is mostly due to the lack of vehicle skins, which are of debatable value, and some players may prefer the more focused approach to newer Warbonds, but the fact remains that Borderline Justice contains technically less content for the same price. As Helldivers 2 continues to receive new updates, it remains to be seen whether its approach to Warbonds will change even further.
