Rockstar Games' GTA Online's fastest sports cars. Players can slap a free eCola x Sprunk livery on the car to complete the look and show off their team spirit. Though this seems odd, Rockstar takes it a step further by explaining that players can head to any clothing store's front desk to pick out a free Sprunk or eCola bodysuit. With each bodysuit claimed, a vote towards the respective brand will be counted. Votes will be counted for three weeks until September 14. Once the event ends, the GTA Online developer will award all players $300K of in-game money, a hat, varsity jacket, and a parachute bag containing the logos of the winning soda.

Rockstar is Trying to Keep GTA Online Relevant

Now that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been announced, many fans have turned their attention away from GTA Online and towards the next installment in the series. Rockstar has noticed this and has even banned talk of GTA 6 on its official platforms, likely in an attempt to keep players focused on the current offerings in GTA Online. Wacky events like the battle between fictional sodas may be another way the developer is trying to keep fans engaged with the online component of GTA 5. However, this may not be working, as many of the replies to the tweet are mentioning GTA 6.

As fans impatiently wait for more news on GTA 6, Rockstar may introduce wild events in Grand Theft Auto Online as much as possible to distract fans. Hopefully this will come alongside substantial content updates that will give players more reason to remain invested in the game. Either way, may the best soda win.
