With the new Version 2.4 update, 4-Star Yun Jin and 5-Star Shenhe are the newest characters to be added to the Archive. 2.4’s Archon Quest centers around the reconstruction of the previously sacrificed Jade Chamber, led by the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, Ningguang.
In order to access Ningguang’s Hangout Event, players must first complete the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: The Crane Returns on the Wind. Players must also have at least two keys, which are earned by completing eight Daily Commissions. As Ningguang returns to the main storyline, players are given the opportunity to learn more about her in the Hangout Event.
As with the other Hangout Events in Genshin Impact, players will be able to achieve a total of five endings with Ningguang. Specific combinations of choices will influence the ending given to the player at the end of the Event. Players will be able to repeat the Hangout Event as many times as they need in order to earn the rewards for unlocking all five endings.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Ending 1: While the View Remains Good
Ningguang’s Hangout Event begins at the newly reconstructed Jade Chamber, which had been previously demolished in order to defeat the ancient sea god Osial. As her three most trusted secretaries - Baishi, Baiwen, and Baixiao - are busy with other events such as an important auction, Ningguang needs help from the traveler in scheduling and accompanying her to tasks in order to maintain her public image. After planning the busy schedule - and delivering Ningguang’s new outfit in Genshin Impact - the Traveler accompanies Ningguang to a lunch with Luo Qiao, who had paid for the opportunity to hear Ningguang’s business advice.
After lunch, the traveler and Ningguang pick up a repaired comb from Xingxi of Mingxing Jewelry for one of her informants. Ningguang discovers that one of her young informants had been emotionally manipulated by Leo Ke and Big Xu. The young informant was persuaded to lie to Ningguang in order to promote a false business opportunity. After coming to an agreement, Ningguang offers to buy the men’s supplies to pay off their debt without profit. Ningguang then orders the two men to apologize to the child, who chooses to settle matters with a game of hide-and-seek.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Ending 2: The Weight of a Collection
After lunch with Luo Qiao, Ningguang opts to check on her secretaries. At Yujing Terrace - which contains flowers needed for Genshin Impact’s Ascensions - Ningguang decides to spearhead the auction. The auction contains items from Ningguang’s personal collection. The Traveler discovers that many people are willing to pay an exceptional price in order to have an item previously owned by Ningguang. Yingfeng, who had bid 180,000 Mora for a teacup, insists he can make more off of bigger Ningguang fans than himself.
It is then discovered that Ningguang set the auction up in order to lure out those who had stolen lost property from the wreckage of the first Jade Chamber’s destruction. Ningguang used the auction to successfully shut down those who thought they could take advantage of her while reclaiming her stolen items. She then proceeds to explain to the Traveler just how important each item is to her.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Ending 3: Unchanging Will
With the Traveler in charge of Ningguang’s schedule, a day off from work is arranged. This is a rare occurrence as Ningguang is typically busy with events, such as the Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact. Ningguang and the Traveler play a game she created called Liyue Millennial, which is similar to classic chess, though it has a different set of rules. Ningguang decides to make the Traveler a limited-edition game piece in order to encourage pre-orders and set history correctly.
They see Ying’er for help with taking the Traveler’s measurements before heading to Xingxi to craft the final piece. Xingxi discusses Ningguang’s ultimate goals with Liyue Millennial, though the Traveler later discovers Ningguang had lied to her in order to uphold her image. At the top of the Jade Chamber, Ningguang confides in the Traveler of her grief and sacrifice, and she is consoled with the Traveler’s words and company.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Ending 4: Fortunes Shared
Following Ningguang’s scheduled day off, Ningguang decides to do something she considers self-indulgent. They travel to the docks to collect unclaimed and damaged goods in order to earn Mora, starting from nothing. After they fail to sell the goods free of influence from their reputations, Ningguang and the Traveler opt to search for treasure chests in Genshin Impact.
After building up hunger, Ningguang and the Traveler - unwilling to spend their hard-earned Mora in one transaction for food - opt to fish instead. Ningguang demonstrates her cooking expertise. She delves into her past and upbringing, knowing her decision to carve her own path was the right choice despite its uncertainties. The Traveler rests with Ningguang beside a fire with perfectly grilled fish for both of them to enjoy.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Hangout Ending 5: Feint and Riposte
On Ningguang’s day off, she and the Traveler head to the Northland Bank to start their activity of earning Mora. However, Ningguang’s relationship with the Fatui is difficult as reparations from Genshin Impact’s Tartaglia’s actions had caused the bank to suffer losses. Once Ningguang and the Traveler leave the bank, they sense that they are being watched. After luring the mysterious person out, Ningguang confronts him and discovers that the short interaction within the bank had put the Fatui on high alert.
The Hangout Event ends with Ningguang ready to achieve her goal by any means necessary. The Fatui are clearly intimated by her intelligence and wit. As the final ending to Ningguang’s Hangout Event, Genshin Impact players learn that there is more behind the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing than meets the eye.
