Kaveh has interested Genshin Impact fans ever since his introduction at the end of the Sumeru Archon Quest Act V: "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises". He is roommates with Alhaitham, and the pair's argumentative dynamic (alongside Kaveh's clueless return to a very different Akademiya) threw Kaveh high up the list of characters players couldn't wait for. Kaveh's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst both involve the use of his mechanical briefcase Mehrak. For his Skill, Mehrak scans the field with AoE Dendro DMG and triggers any Dendro Cores within the scan. Kaveh's Burst creates a large cubic area for AoE Dendro DMG, converts Normal/Charged/Plunging Attacks to Dendro DMG, and increases Dendro Core burst DMG. Kaveh's build gives Nilou's Bloom-based build more team comp options.
Kaveh Dendro/Bloom DPS Build
Kaveh's best build in Genshin Impact is as a Dendro DPS, with a specific focus on triggering Bloom reactions. His Burst has a low Energy cost of 80, which means players can consistently transform Kaveh's Normal Attack DMG into Dendro DMG, similar to Alhaitham's Talents. This design choice was likely to remind players of their amazing dynamic in Genshin Impact. Maximizing this Dendro DMG across all three skills will allow Kaveh to deal massive amounts of damage.
Since his Elemental Skill has a higher DMG% than his Burst on any given Level, ascending Kaveh's Burst and Normal Attack will be a better use of Talent materials, although no Talent should be ignored. Like all DPS units, increasing Kaveh's Crit Rate and Crit DMG is of high priority. Due to his Bloom bonuses, however, players should also make sure to look for Elementary Mastery among their artifact stats. His ive talent "An Architect's Undertaking" will heal Kaveh by 300% of his EM whenever a Dendro Core deals DMG. ATK% and ER% can also help Kaveh shine.
Kaveh's Best Weapons & Artifacts In Genshin Impact
Kaveh has limited options when it comes to 5-Star claymores for the perfect Genshin Impact build. Like most claymore characters, however, Kaveh can make use of Skyward Pride. Since his Burst already strengthens his Normal Attacks, Skyward Pride's ATK and DMG boost will prove useful in most builds.
Although 5-Stars are usually the best, Kaveh's best weapon would have to be Makharia Aquamarine. This claymore's secondary stat is Elemental Mastery for a maximum of 165. The claymore can transform up to 48% of Kaveh's EM into bonus ATK. This ability maximizes Kaveh's ive Talents.
For participants in Genshin Impact's Windblume 2023 event, Kaveh can also wield Mailed Flower, which has a weaker EM bonus, but increases his ATK and EM whenever he uses his Elemental Skill or triggers an Elemental Reaction.
There are a few different options for artifact sets befitting Kaveh's Genshin Impact build. He is one of the few characters who could make use of a four-piece Flower of Paradise Lost set. The set would boost his EM and strengthen his Dendro Core DMG. A four-piece Gilded Dreams set would also work since it can bump both his ATK and EM up.
As players search for the perfect artifacts to complete their four-piece set, they can use two artifacts of either set and combine them with a two-piece Deepwood Memories set for a Dendro DMG bonus.
