Mavuika’s signature weapon in new characters in Genshin Impact 5.3.
The leaks for Version 5.3 are intensifying since the start of the beta tests for the update and, with them, a lot of information about the patch’s contents is being shared. This includes details about each of the characters’ gameplay kits as well as the events that players will be able to participate in during the update. There has also been a leak about a massive change to Genshin Impact banners starting in Version 5.3, which should be beneficial to players looking to acquire new units, including Mavuika and Citlali. One of the leaks details Mavuika’s signature 5-star claymore weapon.
Mavuika’s Signature 5-Star Weapon In Genshin Impact 5.3 Has Leaked
The Claymore Is Rumored To Be Called A Thousand Blazing Suns
Mavuika’s rumored 5-star signature weapon has leaked, including the gameplay bonuses it provides. According to information by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was then shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, Mavuika’s signature weapon is called A Thousand Blazing Suns. The leak says the weapon offers a high base ATK stat (741 at level 90) and a helpful albeit low CRIT Rate sub-stat (11% at level 90). Its skill sees that when an Elemental Skill or Burst is used, the gains Sacred Flame’s Blessing, boosting CRIT DMG by 24% and ATK by 32% for six seconds.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Character Banner Leaks Show Concerning Absence
An ongoing absence from Genshin Impact banners has been noticed once again in Version 5.3 leaks, which may condemn an entire element to its doom.
The leak says this effect can be triggered once every 10 seconds. While the Blessing is active, dealing Normal Attack or Charged Attack DMG will extend the Blessing’s duration by two seconds, an effect that can occur every second, with the maximum extension being six seconds. The Blessing’s buffs are increased by 50% when the is in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state. Lastly, the leak says that the weapon used by Mavuika in Genshin Impact does not decrease the duration of Blessing while the is off-field. For sub-DPS characters using claymores, this is what makes it so special.
The exact stats and bonuses offered by the weapon may change during the beta tests. As such, the base ATK, CRIT Rate sub-stat, and the CRIT DMG and ATK buffs could be altered before release.
Mavuika’s Leaked Weapon In Genshin Impact 5.3 Seems Particularly Good For Sub-DPS Claymore Characters
The Weapon’s Buffs Allegedly Don’t Fade When The Is Off-Field
The fact that the Blessing’s duration does not decrease when the character is off-field, according to the leak, is extremely beneficial to sub-DPS characters who rotate in only to use their Skill or Burst and then exit. The abilities they unleash will see the CRIT DMG and ATK bonuses active without the risk of exhaustion, meaning that, if their off-field abilities last more than six seconds, they will still have increased offensive buffs applied to them. Mavuika’s leaked off-field Pyro DMG would see a substantial increase in performance if the leak about her signature weapon in Genshin Impact is true.

Genshin Impact 5.3's Leaked Weekly Boss Is Straight Out Of Souls Games & That's Incredible
Several details about the new weekly boss being added with Genshin Impact 5.3 have emerged and it seems heavily inspired by Soulslike games.
While the weapon is tailor-made for Mavuika, the rumored A Thousand Blazing Suns claymore could also serve other sub-DPS units. Characters like Beidou, Chongyun, Dehya could also see great benefits when using the Pyro Archon’s leaked signature weapon, as they all have off-field abilities that deal damage. If players use Navia as a sub-DPS, she could also take advantage of the rumored claymore from Version 5.3 – though it’s always best to use Navia in Genshin Impact as a main DPS.
Mavuika’s Leaked Weapon In Genshin Impact Is Great For Most DPS Characters, Too
A Thousand Blazing Suns Is Rumored To Have Fantastic Stats
Even though it seems like the weapon’s secret lies exclusively in the fact that the Blessing’s duration doesn’t decrease when the is off-field, it could comfortably be wielded by any claymore character focused on dealing damage. The high base ATK and the CRIT Rate sub-stat are great boons to DPS characters, and the CRIT DMG and ATK buffs obtained by the Blessing are too good to ignore, even if they have a limited duration. Mavuika herself is rumored to be a hybrid DPS and sub-DPS, and this leaked weapon will also serve her while she is on the field.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Pyro Traveler's Kit Shows Xiangling's Reign As A Pyro Sub-DPS May Have Come To An End After Four Years
The Pyro Traveler could become the best new Pyro sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, based on the leaks regarding their gameplay kit in Version 5.3.
Characters like Diluc, Eula, and Navia, when used as main DPS units, could have their performances improved drastically with Mavuika’s leaked signature weapon. A character that would do outstandingly well with A Thousand Blazing Suns is Kinich in Genshin Impact. The Dendro character is also a DPS and, being a character from Natlan, he can enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state to activate the rumored 50% increase to the Sacred Flame’s Blessing bonuses.
Additionally, Kinich also uses Normal and Charged Attacks regularly, which would extend the duration of the Blessing and, therefore, the offensive buffs the weapon allegedly provides.
It is clear that A Thousand Blazing Suns will be particularly great for sub-DPS characters if the leaks are true because the offensive bonuses would not fade away with them being off-field but, overall, this leaked claymore for Version 5.3 is a top-tier weapon for any claymore character looking to deal damage. Weaker main DPS characters like Freminet or Razor could benefit from Mavuika’s signature weapon. Even a character like Kaveh in Genshin Impact, who is naturally more aligned with the Elemental Mastery stat, could see good offensive bonuses added to their on-field performance as a DPS.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Hint At Update You've Been Waiting For Ages To Happen
A great system optimization update for Artifacts may occur in Genshin Impact 5.3, allowing players to have a better time when farming them.
The most important thing for this leaked weapon to become one of the best claymores in the game is that it does not suffer any drastic nerfs to the offensive buffs it provides. This includes regular stats as well as the bonuses triggered by its leaked weapon skill. As reliable and promising as A Thousand Blazing Suns may seem, it is best if the leak is considered with a grain of salt, as it could still suffer adjustments during the beta tests leading up to the release of Genshin Impact 5.3, expected to arrive on January 1, 2025.
