Anna and Elsa celebrated Christmas in Arendelle during the Frozen 2, the sisters should spend their next holiday season in the Enchanted Forest. Frozen 2 gave Elsa and Anna unprecedented insight into their family history and Elsa's powers. Elsa's newfound role as an ambassador in the Enchanted Forest make it the perfect place for her and Anna to spend the holiday season.
Family dynamics have always been at the forefront of Frozen, but Olaf's Frozen Adventure took a deeper dive into the relationship between Anna and Elsa. During the 22-minute short, the two sisters celebrate the first Christmas since the gates opened, only to find that the Arendellians already have long-lived holiday traditions of their own. Left in an empty castle, the sisters tried to how their family celebrated, but fear of Elsa's magic from a young age left the sisters alone and isolated. Anna and Elsa eventually reconnect with each other and their people through Olaf, but Frozen 2 gives them a new and perhaps better option for holiday celebrations.
When Anna and Elsa discover their Frozen 2, they discover a whole new extended family. The revelation that Elsa is the fifth spirit gives her and Anna a reason to stay connected to the Enchanted Forest beyond their initial adventure. With Elsa now living in the Enchanted Forest, the holidays are the perfect time for the two to conduct an annual visit, both to explore old family traditions and solidify the relationship between the two kingdoms.
Holidays are a time to be with family, and Frozen 2 revealed that even after Anna and Elsa's parents died, they may still have family among the Northuldra. Since Arendelle seems to be relatively self-sufficient when it comes to Christmas traditions, the sisters should take advantage of their new connection with the Northuldra to explore their heritage. Elsa and Anna learned about their connection to Ahtohallan and the Enchanted Forest in Frozen 2 and there's likely more to discover. It's been decades, but there may be some among the Northuldra who still Elsa and Anna's mother, or are even directly related to her by blood. The sisters can also learn more about the forest, Northuldra holiday traditions, and other folk tales ed down from generation to generation.
The ending of Frozen 2 also left the relationship between the Northuldra and Arendelle somewhat ambiguous. By revealing the truth and tearing down the dam, Elsa and Anna rebuilt a fragile truce between the two kingdoms, but the bond is still weak and needs to be strengthened. After the betrayal of King Runeard, trust has to be rebuilt. The holidays are the perfect time for a t annual celebration where people from two different cultures can mingle and learn more about each other. In addition to building familial relationships and friendships, an annual festival could also put Arendelle and the Northuldra on a path to greater trade and cooperation, strengthening their alliance in the Frozen universe.
