Friends is one of the most popular TV sitcoms of all time. With the much-anticipated reunion special having aired last month, it re-ignited long-time fans' love for the show. Viewers reminisced along with the cast about some of their all-time favorite Friends moments and characters.

Fans all over the globe have not only their favorite characters but also their favorite duos in the show. Joey and Phoebe have always been fan-favorite characters, but many viewers think their friendship is underrated, and they had some of the most memorable, hilarious episodes of all time.

"The One With The Blind Dates"

In the season 9 episode "The One With The Blind Dates," Joey and Phoebe forces in an attempt to help their other friends realize their love for one another. The mischievous duo spends the episode setting up both Ross and Rachel on terrible blind dates, in the hopes they would realize they belonged together once and for all.

This episode sees Joey and Phoebe band together to come up with the ultimate plan and even complete with their very own evil villainous laughs. In this hilarious but well-intended plan, Joey sets Ross up with a date who doesn't show, while Phoebe sets Rachel up for the worst date of her life. By the end of the episode, Phoebe and Joey are seemingly proud of themselves, as they believe their plan has worked and they make a great team. However, when it's clear their friends figure out the scheme, Phoebe hilariously suggests to Joey that they should run to Mexico to escape.

"The One With The Metaphorical Tunnel"

Phoebe is driven by guilt in the episode, "The One With The Metaphorical Tunnel." The episode sees Phoebe accidentally forgetting to let Joey know about an audition. Upon seeing how upset her friend is, she decides to take action.

In a funny and unexpected turn of events, Phoebe decides to rid her guilt by winning Joey his audition back. Joey is unsure as Phoebe takes on the pretend role of his agent. He is quickly thankful for Phoebe when she lands him that all-important audition and the plan eventually secures Joey the job he wishes for. This particular episode is one of many that shows Phoebe is willing to do anything for Joey.

"The One With The Birthing Video"

Always proving that she is there when Joey is in need, Phoebe attempts to cheer Joey up with the company of an adorable dog companion.

In the episode, "The One With The Birthing Video," Joey is seen struggling and finds himself depressed over his feelings for Rachel. Phoebe tries to cheer up Joey with the happiest dog in the world, her friend's canine companion, Mozzarella. Feeling like it will help cheer Joey up, Phoebe leaves him alone for the day with the dog. When she eventually returns it is evident that Joey's low mood has affected the poor pooch. Joey its to piling on his love life problems to Mozzarella and is concerned he has broken the dog.

"The One Where They All Turn 30"

Joey's love for Phoebe is a running theme in the show and this episode is no exception as Joey voluntarily helps out his friend.  In a flashback episode to all of the friends' 30th birthdays, Phoebe discovers that her 30th birthday is actually her 31st.

Understandably devastated, Phoebe expresses her sadness for not being able to tick off bucket list items before she turned 30. One of the things on her list is to have to perfect kiss and of course, Joey steps up to help his friend. Phoebe is incredibly thankful for this touching moment between the two.

"The One With The Red Sweater"

Joey will not stand to see the friends in his life be treated unfairly and abandoned. So when Joey believes that Phoebe is pregnant and the father of her baby is not interested, he makes a bold move. When Rachel discovers that she is pregnant and isn't ready to tell the guys yet, Phoebe decides to take one for the team. In the episode, "The One With The Red Sweater," Phoebe pretends that Rachel's pregnancy test is actually hers and she tells the guys that she is pregnant. When Joey finds out about Phoebe's dilemma, she is shocked when Joey proposes, vowing that she won't have to go through this alone. While Phoebe gladly accepts the proposal with glee, Monica quickly clears things up with the truth and informs Joey that it is Rachel who is actually pregnant. Phoebe is hilariously reluctant to give Joey his ring back as he tries to pull off the same proposal to Rachel.

"The One With The Fake Party"

If there is one thing Joey loves it is meat. His offer to give up eating meat for Phoebe while she is pregnant is proof of how good of a friend he actually is. In the episode, "The One With The Fake Party," vegetarian Phoebe discovers that her pregnancy cravings are leaning toward eating meat and she is horrified. Realizing that she may have to give in to her strong desire for meat but feeling incredibly guilty about it, Joey offers a suggestion to help his friend. Joey vows to stop eating meat, reasoning that Phoebe will simply be eating the meat that he would normally consume and no more animals would be killed as a result. Phoebe is grateful and accepts this plan, Joey once again proving what a good friend he is to Phoebe.

"The One With All The Cheesecakes"

In the episode, "The One With All The Cheesecakes," Joey cancels his plans with Phoebe and decides to go on a real date with another woman. Friend code means a lot to Phoebe and rightfully she is mad at Joey until her ex-boyfriend David comes back into town.

This episode sees Phoebe give Joey a hard time about turning down plans with friends for a date. All is forgiven and the pair reschedule their plans, that is until Phoebe bumps into her old flame David. Having such a small window for opportunity to spend time with David, Phoebe cancels on Joey and of course, this causes friction between the friends. However, Joey isn't one to hold a grudge and when he sees a tearful Phoebe saying goodbye to the man she loves, he immediately comforts her. Joey and Phoebe share a sweet moment of understanding, love, and care. Which pretty much sums up their friendship as a whole.

"The One With All The Resolutions"

When the gang all decide to make New Years' resolutions, Joey expresses his desire to learn guitar. In the episode, "The One With All The Resolutions", Phoebe volunteers to be Joey's guitar teacher in an effort to help her friend.

Joey quickly learns during this episode, that Phoebe's methods of teaching guitar are somewhat unusual. Phoebe never likes to play by the typical rule book, from her own bizarre version of guitar chords to not allowing Joey to even touch the guitar. Struggling to learn Phoebe's complicated methods, Joey attempts to learn the real chords and suggests he find a real teacher. After the friends part ways on an argument, they eventually realize that Joey would rather learn from Phoebe after all, as long as he can actually touch the guitar of course.

"The One Where Joey Speaks French"

In this hilarious and chaotic episode, "The One Where Joey Speaks French", Phoebe offers to help Joey learn a new language for an audition. Phoebe comes to a quick realization that Joey is terrible at learning French. it is clear that Joey doesn't understand and seemingly believes that he is actually talking French. Phoebe tries her best to stay patient but the patience wears thin and she abandons any hope. Joey hilariously believing that a recorded tape has now taught him perfect French, attends his audition and Phoebe shows up for . Seeing the director confused by Joey's attempts and Phoebe not being one to see her friend humiliated, she speaks up for Joey. While Joey doesn't get the part, his rift with Phoebe is repaired in the end and the viewers have a hilarious, memorable episode.

"The One With The Pediatrician"

Joey plays such a huge role in Phoebe's life generally, but this episode brought them closer together. The episode. "The One With The Pediatrician" sees Joey unknowingly introducing Phoebe to her future husband. Joey is almost caught out when Phoebe reminds him of their planned, blind double date. Joey having forgotten to set Phoebe up with one of his friends, tells Phoebe that he will introduce her to Mike on their date. Realizing he doesn't know a Mike, Joey rushes to the coffee house and aimlessly calls out for someone called Mike. Joey strikes lucky when someone answers. The episode sees Joey talk Mike through his lies and they go on a blind date. Phoebe quickly figures out that Joey doesn't actually know Mike and is furious with him. Eventually, everything works out okay, as Phoebe and Mike genuinely hit it off and of course Phoebe being the good friend she is, lets Joey off the hook.
