Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Found season 2, episode 17!Found season 2, portraying Heather Tollin, an attorney with a mysterious agenda who starts getting close to multiple of Mosely & Associates (M&A). However, season 2, episode 17 saw Margaret (Kelli Williams) put a number of puzzle pieces together when seeing her leaving the prison to visit Sir (Gosselaar), realizing she's actually his sister, Lena, working with him.
Speaking with ScreenRant, Savre explained how Gosselaar, who also directed Found season 2, episode 17, told her on her first day of filming that she was playing Sir's sister, Lena. The actor explained how she had some theories about Heather's true intentions, but it wasn't until her co-star told her that she learned what her role actually was. She also explains how others on set were hyping up her role, explaining how she officially learned the truth behind her character. Check out what Savre had to say below:
No, I had no idea. I knew that this character had more than met the eye. I definitely knew there was something there and there were some layers. I thought she was just going to come on as a lawyer because my audition scenes were more lawyer-based. I had a sass and wit and the whole thing, which now I'm realizing, in hindsight, was very much Hugh-esque.
It was like the Trent scene and a lawyer scene. And so I was like, "Oh, maybe they're going to bring me on to be Trent's love interest, kind of a love triangle thing, and be a lawyer. But I was like, "There's definitely more to her than meets the eye." And then my first day filming, I got done filming with [Brett] Dalton, and they're like, Mark-Paul [Gosselaar] wants to talk to you. And so he knocks on my trailer door, and he's just like, "Hi sister." And I was like, "Oh my God!"
And the crew was also so invested, so they kept telling me, "Do you know who you are? Because I think we know who you are." And I was like, "Don't tell me! I don't want to know! Until NK, the creator, tells me, I don't want to know!" But it was hard to avoid because everybody had all their predictions and stuff going on, and the scenes just got more and more suspicious and layered. And then she finally let me know, officially, the whole backstory and everything Lena-Heather had done prior to the episode.
What Heather's Reveal As Lena Means For Found Season 2
Sir's Accomplice Has Been Uncovered
With Gosselaar confirming Found season 2's twist for Savre, it seems to cement that Margaret is correct in her deduction that Heather is actually Lena. Since her first appearance in the show, the criminal defense attorney has gotten unusually close to the team, despite representing someone who kidnapped Gabi (Shanola Hampton) when she was a child. Having a romantic connection to Trent (Brett Dalton), she's managed to weave her want into the team's lives, something that has still drawn some suspicion given her representation of the main antagonist.

Found Season 2: Why Sir's Sister May Not Be The Villain Gabi Thinks Explained By Star Danielle Savre
Danielle Savre chats with ScreenRant about Heather's true identity and teases the relationship between Sir and Heather in Found season 2, episode 18.
The confirmation that she's actually Lena puts everything into perspective, making her an accomplice to Sir's crimes and breaking down any potential trust she's built with the team. Now that the team knows the truth, the episodes are bound to be full of tension, especially given how much she's tricked people like Trent. What the consequences are going to be, however, remain to be seen, especially whether any of the story beats could potentially carry over to Found season 3, should the series get renewed.
Our Take On Found Season 2's Lena Twist
Setting The Stage For The Final Story Arc
Now that Margaret has learned the truth about Heather's identity, it's only a matter of time before the rest of the team becomes embroiled in the conflict her revelation will cause. Whether this will lead to any legal ramifications for Sir's case is unclear, but it could see the team trying to prove beyond any doubt that Lena is actually the one representing him. With Found promising plenty of dramatic tension ahead, the revelation that the attorney is Sir's sister will likely send shock waves across the last batch of season 2's episodes.
New episodes of Found air Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
