Warning: SPOILERS for Found season 2, episode 20, "Missing While Independent."

Details about the Found season 2 has been ramping up its story in a big way since the reveal of Sir’s accomplice. With much of the emphasis on Gabi, few characters besides Sir, Margaret, and Lacey have had much chance to tell their stories. Characters like Dhan, Zeke, and Heavy Boots remain largely enigmatic, as does current villain Lena

That could be set to change regardless of whether the network grants a Found season 3 renewal, with Dhan’s trauma set to resurface in a way that might lead to more details about his former captivity. After Found season 2, episode 20 ended with Dhan telling Sir that Lena got to Gabi, it appears that Gabi will remain in danger two episodes later during the Found season 2 finale on May 15. The Found season 2 finale details, as reported by TVLine, provide the following description for the episode “Missing While Dying”:

Someone from Dhan’s past resurfaces looking for their missing wife, triggering Dhan’s trauma. M&A mobilizes to track down one of their own as Gabi barters with her life. Heather’s actions lead to a bold declaration.

What These Details Mean For The Found Season 2 Finale

Heather/Lena Might Accrue More Enemies Than Just M&A

Despite acting as Gabi’s right-hand man, Dhan has always been one of the more enigmatic characters in the series. Sir’s storyline in Found tends to take front and center, with Margaret’s backstory only demanding particular attention this season. But the fact that a person resurfacing triggers Dhan’s trauma suggests that they might be one of the people whose betrayal he’s alluded to when talking about his three years in captivity. Since he went MIA and has previously said he was abandoned by those meant to look out for him, this person is likely a fellow military officer.

I Can't Believe It, But Found Season 2 Might Be Setting Up Sir's Redemption

Found season 2 began by upping the ante on just how much of a threat Sir poses to M&A, but there’s a chance he’s now set up to become a true ally.

If Lena really got to Gabi in Found season 2, episode 20, the fact that she is still bartering with her life in the finale suggests the team will have gone without her help for at least a full episode by the time she’s recovered. But the more fascinating concern is who’s making the “bold declaration” mentioned in the Found season 2 finale details. Sir has never agreed with Heather/Lena on how to handle Gabi, so there’s a good chance the logline is implying that he will betray his own sister to save Found's protagonist's life. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Will Dhan’s MIA Time Finally Be Explained?

It’s great to see Dhan’s backstory addressed, but this series isn’t typically straightforward with information. It very much likes to pull at story threads slowly, which is worrisome considering it’s also one of the shows at risk of cancelation right now. The Found season 2 finale details and the possibility of Sir’s redemption suggest what could be a decent series finale if the show doesn’t get renewed. But as of now, there remains a significant chance, based on the show’s history that the finale may leave fans with more questions than answers, regardless of renewal status.
