There have been a lot of theories about Jamie Reed since Found season 2 focuses so much on Jamie and his identity, those questions naturally demanded the most immediate attention.
Speaking with ScreenRant, Queenan elaborates on whether Sir and Jamie have any prior relationship with each other. Fortunately, the lack of a Found season 3 won’t prevent fans from getting at least some of the answers that have kept them on seat’s edge. Although the content of Jamie’s meeting with Sir is never shown, Parker Queenan has revealed that Jamie has no connections with Sir and met him solely out of curiosity.
No, there’s not really a connection between the two of them. Jamie’s really interested in M&A, and in Gabi, in particular. And I think that he’s like an investigative journalist. He’s going to the people that he understands were pivotal in all of these peoples’ lives, and that was a big part of why he went to Sir in that one scene.
I don’t think there’s any kind of connection between them. I think that there’s an understanding of who each other are. He knows who Sir is, and Sir, through knowing about Gabi, knows who Margaret’s son is, and obviously, having helped a little bit in the case in a flashback about trying to find Jamie when his shoes appeared in the station. But I don’t think there’s any kind of connection between them. I don’t think that ever comes to light. But who knows?
What Queenan’s Comments On Sir And Jamie Mean For Found Season 2
Queenan Debunks A Major Season-Long Fan Theory
The theory that Jamie is working for Sir in Found season 2 began the moment he met Margaret at the bus stop midseason, largely because his arrival right after Sir’s arrest seemed too convenient to be entirely coincidental. However, Queenan’s comments lay to rest the notion that Jamie is working with either Sir or Lena Evans. This might have been confirmed by Lena kidnapping Jamie right before the Found season 2 finale, but those familiar with the show likely wouldn’t have been shocked if that was done simply to put viewers off their guard for a later plot twist.
Jamie’s future with M&A looks a lot brighter now that he’s finally gained the entire team’s trust, giving him one of the brightest outlooks in the cast following the series’ premature conclusion.
Queenan confirming Jamie’s innocence makes it easier to look back over his storyline with a lot less scrutiny. While Dhan doubted Jamie’s identity right up until the bitter end, Jamie’s Found season 2 storyline was always that of a misunderstood kidnapping victim trying to make sense of his experiences amid M&A’s suspicions. Jamie’s future with M&A looks a lot brighter now that he’s finally gained the entire team’s trust, giving him one of the brightest outlooks in the cast following the series’ premature conclusion.
Our Take On Jamie And Sir’s Connection In Found Season 2
Their Lack Of Connection Raises The Found Season 2 Finale’s Stakes
Jamie working with Sir and Lena would have been a heart-stopping twist, but it’s their lack of connection that makes the abduction work in the Found season 2 finale’s favor. Margaret just got her son back, only to relive the nightmare all over again. While Queenan’s last remark suggests the plan could have eventually changed, it’s reassuring for fans to know the series wasn’t canceled with any lingering doubts about Jamie’s innocence. The series may leave many questions open-ended, but fans can at least rest assured that Jamie ends the show as a true ally of M&A.
