Forza Horizon 4 Reveal Trailer: A Shared Open Britain

The least surprising studio Microsoft just officially acquired.

Playground appeared on stage to release the Forza Horizon 4 reveal trailer, but followed up it up with a gameplay presentation on the key features of sequel: dynamic seasons, a shared open-world where all players experience that same weather, and the new setting of Britain. Horizon 4 features over 450 cars and you can see a few in the gameplay footage below.

The world of Forza Horizon 4 changes completely with each season, altering not only track conditions, dynamic weather, and the aesthetic of the environments, but the events are different each season too. Every player exists in the same shared open world, meaning the seasons and weather are experienced by all. And every other vehicle you see, is another player. It's a smart and groundbreaking move to push that social experience and allow all active players to experience content and events together.

Forza Horizon 4 lets players not only customize the game's insane amount of beautiful, drivable vehicles but they can also outfit their driver with new clothing and emotes, own property, and create custom race routes for the community. Players can enjoy the game's connected world solo or play cooperatively, and there are casual and competitive multiplayer matching to take on the best drivers out there.
