Reportedly leaked details suggest the still-unconfirmed AC Valhalla's Eivor would the Fortnite roster. Supposedly, the Viking was meant to hit the Island on Thursday, March 31 - a release that, obviously, never came to . Neither Epic Games nor Ubisoft has so much as teased such a collaboration.
Eivor Varinsdottir's introduction to the popular battle royale experience, should the ongoing rumors prove accurate, would make them the second Assassin's Creed hero to crossover with the Epic-developed title. Fan-favorite character and Master Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze took part in a Fortnite collaboration just last month, arriving with several in-game cosmetics such as the Assassin's Strike emote and Hidden Blade pickaxe. Now it seems as though the long-running franchise's newest protagonist will soon make the jump to the chaotic world of Fortnite, as well.
Today, April 4, French content creator Assassin's Creed Valhalla protagonist Eivor. The creator went on to allege that Epic Games plans to release the Eivor content in the Item Shop later this week on Friday, April 8. No further details about the supposed collaboration between AC Valhalla and Fornite have surfaced, with both Ubisoft and Epic Games remaining mum on the matter. The post from Anas / Nanass appears as follows:
Because Epic often announces content the day before or the day of a new release, it's possible that Eivor will indeed come to Fortnite on Friday. Still, fans probably should not get their hopes up just yet; as noted above, similar rumors indicated the Assassin's Creed Valhalla crossover would go live last Thursday.
Numerous other video game characters have entered the Fortnite ranks over the last several years. From Kratos and Master Chief to Aloy and Lara Croft, Epic Games has brought a great many beloved game heroes to the Island. Eivor's presumed introduction would come at an interesting time, too, given the rollout of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, which added Marvel's Doctor Strange to the game and later unlocked access to the drivable Armored Battle Bus. To the delight of many a fan, another recent update saw the publisher unleash a permanent No-Build mode that strips the battle royale title of its trademark building mechanics.
Fortnite is playable across all platforms.
