Summary

  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn features a multitude of challenging bosses, with some optional ones even tougher than the main ones.
  • Players will need to master timing and skill sets to defeat bosses like the Whitebridge Horror and Brimstone Terror.
  • Uru, the final boss, presents the ultimate challenge with a second stage that strips away player abilities, making it the toughest fight in the game.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has an overwhelming number of main and side bosses for players to defeat, and some of them are very challenging to take down. Developer A44 may have given the player more tools to help them with Flintlock's difficult soulslike combat, but without the right skill set and timing, these bosses can wipe players out in just a few hits. Even with Enki helping players, there are some late-stage bosses that would make even the most dedicated Elden Ring fan shudder.

[Warning: This article contains spoilers for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.]

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has 22 bosses split into three different categories: main bosses, optional bosses, and Hamlet Leaders. There are seven main bosses to contend with, six optional bosses, and nine Hamlet Leaders. These bosses are easily one of the best aspects of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and its optional bosses are nothing to scoff at, with several actually being tougher than the main ones.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action RPG that features a variety of skills, combat encounters, and a unique open world to explore.

10 Whitebridge Horror Is A Deadly Revenant

Located In The Whitebridge Area Of Three Peaks

The Whitebridge Horror boss is the first in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and it proves to be a challenge from the outset. Its powerful roar knocks players back, allowing it to jump in the air and strike the ground, sending out a devastating AOE attack. The Whitebridge Horror can also teleport, making it hard to land a shot.

Its second stage, which sees it move to another location, is much easier. However, the Whitebridge Horror still has the same powerful moveset from the first stage. It's not hard to see why this is one of the most challenging boss fights in Flintlock, and it offers an excellent taste of what's to come.

9 Ekhagrrii Is A Skilled Mimic

Located In The Jagged Ascent Area Of Wanderer’s Rest

Ekhagrri is the fourth main boss players will face in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and it takes the form of Nor. The player will need to beat Ekhagrrii twice, with the second stage being much harder. During its first stage, Ekhagrrii has a leap attack and a handful of basic attacks that all deal a lot of damage. The leap attack sees it lunge into the air before delivering an explosive blow.

Ekhagrrii's second stage is the same, although it's much faster and can teleport out of the way. It will also knock the player back when it enters this second stage, giving it plenty of time to strike. Ekhagrrii isn't the toughest boss in Flintlock, but it is deadly.

8 Brimstone Terror

The Final Revenant Located At The Top Of The Ravine’s Secret In Wanderer’s Rest

The Brimstone Terror boss in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a revamped version of the Whitebridge Horror boss from earlier. However, while it shares the same look and moves, the Brimstone Terror is much harder, boasting powerful AOE abilities and projectiles. It excels at overwhelming the player, preventing them from reacting quickly enough and dealing lots of damage in the process.

When fighting the Brimstone Terror, players should jump over the red wave it sends out, as this will damage them. Additionally, they will need to shoot the floating purple rocks it summons. Otherwise, they will be thrown at the player and deal lots of damage.

The Brimstone Terror is by far the hardest Revenant in the game, with the other being The Deep One. However, if players make sure to look out for its most powerful moves and utilize Enki to stagger it, they should get through mostly unscathed. The Brimstone Terror is a truly terrifying boss in Flintlock and will give most players a run for their money.

7 MotherFather Is A A Creepy Creature

Located At The End Of The "Family Condition" Sapper Quest

Players will encounter the MotherFather boss at the end of the "Family Condition" Sapper Quest in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. This haunting creature will charge at the player, dealing significant damage if it hits. Additionally, much like the Revenants, MotherFather will often roar, knocking players back and making them vulnerable.

What makes MotherFather truly deadly is its ranged attacks, which include glowing projectiles and a wave of jagged rocks. These must be dodged in order for the player to survive, as they'll both stagger and damage Nor. Fortunately, MotherFather is relatively slow, making it one of the tougher bosses in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, but still beatable.

6 Stone Herald Is A Powerful Statue

Located In The Forging Ground Area Of Three Peaks

The Stone Herald is one of the first optional bosses players will face in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. It has a huge health pool that is hard to whittle down, and its varied attacks deal lots of damage if you don't parry them in time. Defeating the Stone Herald is all about timing, as its slow attack speed makes it easy to interrupt or dodge.

What makes Stone Herald a tougher adversary than some of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn's other bosses is just how powerful its attacks are. The Stone Herald will wipe at least half of a player's health bar with one hit, so there's only really one opportunity to dodge back and heal. Should a player get hit twice, it's likely they'll have lost the fight and will need to run back in and try it all over again.

5 The Sealed Lord Has Deadly Acid

Located In The Ancestor’s Gaze Are Of Wanderer’s Rest

The Sealed Lord is another optional boss in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and can seem deceivingly easy at first glance. However, what makes it so challenging is the acid-filled pots surrounding it. These are very easily breakable if the player attacks near them, and in its second stage, The Sealed Lord will start throwing the pots at the player.

Once the Sealed Lord roars for the first time, the pots will start floating in the air. It is at this point that the boss will start throwing them. Players should rush the Sealed Lord as quickly as possible to defeat it before it can start throwing the pots.

Once they break, the pots cover the floor in a deadly acid that damages the player if they stand on it. The arena then essentially becomes an enemy, constantly dealing damage to the player as they attempt to dodge out of the way of the Sealed Lord's attacks. It can become an overwhelming fight and is easily one of the toughest boss fights in Flintlock.

4 Inaya The Challenging Penultimate Boss

Located At Dawn’s Gate In Dawn

Inaya is the second to last boss in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and, as a result, poses quite the challenge. Inaya has a number of heavy swing attacks that will deal a lot of damage if they land, as well as a lunge attack that wipes three-quarters of the player's health bar. She also has a ranged attack that players will need to be wary of.

The only thing that separates her from the truly challenging bosses is that she's relatively easy to interrupt. Her attacks are quite well-telegraphed, making her easy to parry and dodge. However, one wrong move can wipe out the player instantly, making Inaya one of Flintlock's hardest boss fights.

3 Rammuha The Terrifying Judge

Located At Mercy’s Step In Three Peaks

Rammuha may be one of the earlier main bosses players meet in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, but she is easily one of the most challenging in the entire game. Rammuha's three arms mean she barrages the player with attacks, all of which need to be precisely blocked in order to avoid taking damage. She also has a ranged attack that she will charge, which players will need to shoot at the right time to stop.

Rammuha also has a huge amount of health, especially in the early game, making her hard to take down. Players will need to be aggressive while also parrying her flurry of attacks. Rammuha has definitely earned a place among the hallowed halls of soulslike bosses.

2 Dukmar, The Powerful Knight

Located At The Despot’s Seat In Wanderer’s Rest

Dukmar is the fifth main boss in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and his varied deadly attacks are what make him a standout boss fight. Dukmar will leap into the air with his sword before crashing back down, sending a blue shockwave that will damage the player. Additionally, he has a ranged beam attack that, if the player fails to interrupt, will deal a lot of damage.

Dukmar's second phase sees him throw waves of light at the player, which are hard to dodge and will deal a lot of damage if they connect. He will focus more on his ranged attack as well, making him harder to hit. Dukmar makes for a worthy adversary and a challenging boss fight before Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn's epic ending.

1 Uru Is The Final Boss Fight

Challenging & Legendary

Uru is the final boss fight of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and easily the most challenging in the game. Uru's first phase is relatively easy, although its teleporting ability makes it hard to attack. Uru also has a number of sweep attacks that deal a lot of damage, and it can fly into the air before attacking Nor, making it hard to hit.

However, it is Uru's second stage that makes it such a difficult fight, as it takes Enki and all his abilities away from the player. Fighting without Enki is tough enough, but Uru has some new and powerful moves that will wipe out the player if they're not careful. Uru is definitely the hardest boss fight in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and serves as an epic conclusion to the game.
