Final Fantasy 7 pits the group against Shinra's very own Reno. This guide will help players defeat this challenging boss of the Turks. The Shinra organization plans to stop Avalanche at any cost necessary. Avalanche is the group Cloud, the main protagonist of Final Fantasy 7, s during his time as a working mercenary. Avalanche is planning to rid the world of Shinra, as Shinra is planning to suck up all the Mako energy from the planet, which is essentially the lifeblood of the planet. The Final Fantasy 7 remake has tasked itself with an almost seemingly impossible task of faithfully recreating the original game. The original game released back on the original PlayStation back in 1997 and is one of the most beloved games of all time. Its popularity transcends just gaming, as the title has been referenced in several movies, TV shows, and other video games. The game has faithfully recreated the game's setting, Midgar, from the ground up as this bustling metropolis that is struggling with its own class-based issues. Rich residents live on the higher plates in luxury while the lower plates are the slums, littered with debris and garbage.  Avalanche plans to fix this economic system and the planet by removing Shinra's involvement in the world. Shinra contains an elite group of individuals known as the Turks. The Turks are assigned with stopping Avalanche at every turn and this guide will help players defeat Rude, a member of the Turks.

During chapter 8 after defeating Reno, another member of the Turks, inside of the church where Cloud falls into, he takes the responsibility of being Aerith's bodyguard and escorts her home while protecting her from monsters. Along the way, Aerith and Cloud will engage in riveting conversations. Cloud is a character that is relatively closed off with other people. Although, when he meets Aerith, her personality begins to melt the cold shell surrounding his heart and he begins to open up a bit more. When arriving in the Sector 5 slums, Aerith's hometown, the player can explore and interact with its town folks. To continue the story, head to Aerith's home, a location that has been beautifully recreated in the new games engine. Before arriving there, Rude, a member of the Turks will appear and attempt to kidnap Aerith. Cloud intervenes and this is the first battle with Reno. This guide will help layers understand what it takes to defeat him.

Defeating Rude in Final Fantasy 7

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Rude Right

Before facing Rude in combat, it is important to have at least one type of Wind Materia equipped for this fight. Without it, this fight will be very difficult. To get Wind Materia, head back into the town and speak with Chadley. Chadley will sell Wind Materia, as well as plenty of other helpful Materia depending on if the player has been completing his tasks. Also, if the player has Elemental Materia for Cloud, linking the Wind Materia will make the spells much more useful. Deadly Dodge is also helpful and can be purchased from Chadley as well. Aerith also s the party during this fight, making her a key component to defeat Rude. Equip the proper Materia and enter the fight.

Unlike other of the Turks, Rude fights with just his bare hands. Avoid staying too close to Rude at any point in the fight, as he will combo Cloud or Aerith with powerful attacks. Using Aerith, gather come ATB meter and use Pray to help Cloud. When Rude is blocking, use Wind Materia to stun some of his attacks. This will potentially stagger him, allowing the player to dish out some powerful damage. Rude also has a moved called the Spinning Axe Kick, where he will leap into the air and come down hard. To avoid this, run away, the speed of Cloud or Aeriths run will help the player barely escape his leap attack. Rude also has another move called Spirit Geyser, where he will send shockwaves through the ground. Avoid getting to close to him to avoid this attack.

Rude also has a moved pulled right out of WWE, where he grabs either Cloud or Aerith and spins them around from their feet, throwing them into the other character. To avoid this, perfectly time a dodge and it will miss. Lastly, Rude will throw bombs that will put the party to sleep. If the player gets hit by this, use items to remove the effect, otherwise, it's open season for damage. Using Wind Materia and the Forced Thrust back to back is the best method for staggering him. Repeat this process until the fight is done. Make sure to heal accordingly and don't let one party member die. Attempting the bring them back to life with a Phoenix Down is difficult since Rude will become much more aggressive.

After defeating Rude, he will receive a call from Reno to return to base for a different mission, leaving Cloud and Aerith alone. They can now move forward towards Aerith's home. Reno and Rude are just a small part of the rest of the Turks. A few more Turks appear in this remake part of Final Fantasy 7, but the face them all, players will have to wait until the next part of the saga is released. It's an interesting choice to release this game as separate parts, but each part is much larger than the original game itself. Part 1 of the remake is about the same length as the original game. Midgar in the original game was about just the first 10 hours of the game, and this has now been expanded to 30 hours with new characters, areas, and chapters to explore. The first part has received critical praise across the board and it seems Square Enix has accomplished the nearly impossible of recreating one of the most important games to ever exist. The next part of the saga does not currently have a release date, but for fan's sake, it's not too long before players can experience what happens next in the world of Final Fantasy 7.
