While certain gameplay mechanics may not make the cut for FF7: Ever Crisis, it is likely the bulk of Zack's story will be included, and possibly updated to include content added in later spin-off games. Crisis Core followed Zack Fair as he worked his way through the SOLDIER program within Shinra, and then watches the collapse of the company from the inside as the secrets regarding Angeal, Genesis, and Sephiroth come boiling to the surface. Zack's story is a tragic journey, as players of Final Fantasy 7 know his fate and his importance to Cloud Strife's history in the original FF7 storyline.
Currently, there is little information on what players might be able to expect from Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis. While it was announced which Final Fantasy 7 titles will be included in Ever Crisis, the trailer for the game's announcement showed only snippets of basic gameplay. These mechanics could potentially change as the release date gets closer, leaving much of the game's content a mystery.
