What This Means For Final Destination Bloodlines
Final Destination Bloodlines Has High Potential To Become The Franchise's Best Hit

Within a week, the movie already sured the three previous installments in the franchise, with only $34 million from becoming the second-highest-grossing Final Destination movie. Final Destination Bloodlines also had the biggest production budget in the franchise. However, given that there's a 14-year gap between the fifth and sixth installments, inflation should be taken into consideration. Both 2011's Final Destination 5 and 2009's The Final Destination cost $40 million to make (which roughly equals $56 million to $59 million in 2025). The latest movie had a similarly modest $50 million production budget. It also means that the fourth installment's $187 million earnings in 2009 would equal $278 million in 2025.
Our Take On Final Destination Bloodlines' Box Office Success
It'll Continue Making Headlines
It wouldn't be a surprise if Final Destination Bloodlines made another $66 million in the coming weeks, considering its massive success at the opening weekend box office and the franchise's popularity over the years. On the other hand, with Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning and Disney's Lilo & Stitch arriving this week, the movie will face tougher competition as well.

After An Incredible $102M Opening Weekend, Final Destination Bloodlines May Set A Franchise Box Office Record In Just Weeks
Final Destination Bloodlines' projected global opening weekend puts it on a path to quickly set a huge box office record for the franchise.
Regardless, Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein's horror drama has proven to be a hit, already climbing some of the all-time charts within a week of its release, which is very impressive. In addition to being a commercial success, the movie is also the best-rated in the Final Destination franchise, with a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics and an 88% audience approval rate. Now, it's pretty inevitable that Final Destination Bloodlines will make the record, but it's a matter of when.
