It has now been reported that newcomer Lisette Olivera, who is set to season 7 as Syd Ortiz, will be departing the show after only a few episodes (via Deadline). Ortiz was meant to be the new partner for Scola following the departure of Tiffany Wallace, but the newest member of the team won't be around for long. No official reason has been given, but some sources claim she was simply miscast in a role that calls for an older actor.
