A new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps' cast in action.

Marvel Studios has shared the first look at Julia Garner's Silver Surfer through an exciting new The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer.

The Shalla-Bal version of Silver Surfer looks exactly like she does in the comics, coming to Earth to warn the Fantastic Four that their planet has been marked for death by Galactus. The gigantic villain's presence can be felt, with Galactus walking on the planet to end the trailer. After Marvel initially chose not to show Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards in action, the new trailer gives fans a good look at Mr. Fantastic's elastic powers. The Fantastic Four: First Steps' story will also include a pregnant Sue Storm.

The MCU Movie Is Going To Be An Epic Affair

Marvel Studios' latest trailer for the Fantastic Four movie is very exciting. After being rumored for a long time, the new footage finally confirms that Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm is pregnant in the film. The Invisible Woman has two kids with Mr. Fantastic in the comics, Franklin and Valeria Richards. The former was an important player in the 2015 Secret Wars event, so with Sue pregnant in her MCU debut, it seems like Franklin could play a key role in one or both of the Multiverse Saga's Avengers movies.

The other major reveal in the trailer comes in the form of the first look at Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. She looks comic book-accurate, with her chrome hair being a distinct visual in comparison to the most well-known Silver Surfer, Norrin Radd. The MCU movie will focus on the Fantastic Four trying to stop Galactus from destroying their planet, with the footage showing how beloved the superhero team is by Earth's population. However, a shot from the trailer appears to show the Fantastic Four's ship flying away as Earth is destroyed, which could explain their Avengers movie role.

Marvel Appears To Have A Major Hit On Its Hands

I couldn't be more excited about the MCU's Fantastic Four movie. The new trailer looks incredible, upping the stakes for the film and showing how Marvel's First Family truly feels like one. Seeing the hope Earth places on the Fantastic Four feels fitting for the team, but with the threat Galactus brings, I fear things will not play out like the heroes hope they will. Garner's Silver Surfer looks just how I imagined her, and the scale Marvel went for Galactus should make him an epic MCU villain, which bodes well for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
