While some game elements, like the number of days or the location, aren’t necessarily up for grabs, others will be changeable with the season. The Show Is Working Through Pre-Production

According to an interview with Jeff in Survivor season 48 to vote for different elements that will appear on the fiftieth season of the series. Game elements like the colors of the buffs, whether or not castaways begin their season with rice, and whether the finalists will compete in a fire making competition for a spot in the final tribal council will be voted on by Survivor fans for the milestone season. Fans will be able to vote each week on Survivor’s website, with new votes coming out week-to-week.

During the first week, the four elements to vote on include the three listed above, as well as the Survivor season 50 reunion. In the new era, Survivor reunions happen immediately after the final tribal council in Fiji, but in the past, reunions were held live after the finale aired in a Los Angeles studio. In the future, voters will be able to make decisions about other surprising game elements and provide their own input on what the game will look like for this major Survivor milestone.

Fire Making Is Going To Be A Highly Debated Element

As viewers have the chance to vote on the big elements of Survivor season 50, the season may cut some of the most divisive new era components. While the length of a season will still be 26 days as opposed to the original 39, there will be many other things for Survivor fans to debate with the vote. Fire making, for one, has been a long-disliked element of the Survivor endgame. Fans will also have the opportunity to vote on whether there’s a final two or final three, or whether or not to have idols in the long-running strategy game.
