While not all the details have been released quite yet, fans have received some insider looks at what they can expect from season 31. The show has made many changes to the format over the last few years, some of which fans were not very fond of.

Following the milestone season 30 last fall, it was rumored that host Tya Banks would not be returning to the ballroom next season. The hosting duo had allegedly been fired from the show as producers aimed to go in a different direction with the dancing competition's format. Longtime viewers were livid at such a major change, and ultimately, fans were not impressed by Tyra's hosting abilities.
