The first superhero from Marvel Comic Universe, the genius inventor and a former playboy Iron Man can be called the foundation stone for MCU. In a nutshell, Iron Man launched the MCU and made it the talk of the town.
Superhero of the biggest movie franchise all across the world, Spiderman: Far From Home has just one flashback scene featuring Iron Man, so, discounting that, let’s begin!
Spiderman: Homecoming
First dedicated Spiderman movie from MCU, Homecoming was understandably an inferior movie in the lot of the other brilliant movies from them. Iron Man didn’t have very much to do of course!
Some fans rather disliked the portrayal of a few iconic scenes from the comics and some seemed to love the movie. The climax shows Peter Parker declining the offer to Avengers for full time from Tony Stark and accidentally revealing his identity to Aunt May, Tony proposing to Potts and gifting the suit to Parker.
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man did a cameo in one of the first movies from MCU, The Incredible Hulk. The movie is an origin story of our beloved green Superhero Hulk. Doctor Bruce Banner used gamma radiations to transform himself into a superhero whenever he felt anguish or negative emotions. Iron Man didn’t have much to do in the movie and so he couldn’t make any significant impression overall.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)
The movie made way for the Infinity stones storyline (and drumrolls Thanos) and had something for every franchise fanatic.
The movie introduced us to Scarlet Witch and mostly spun around Tony Stark and his ingenious invention Ultron. Stark had built it as a global defense program, but, it conversely started wreaking havoc on humankind thinking humanity is the biggest threat to the Earth (which might be true after all!).
Iron Man 3 (2013)
The sequel to the Iron Man 2 and arguably the biggest letdown in the IM franchise, Iron Man 3 follows Tony Stark and a terrorist Mandarin. The movie also showed Stark as a vulnerable man with depression, anxiety issues and a failing relationship which understandably did not sit well with many fans.
Another setback was that the Director Jon Favreau didn’t direct the movie this time and Shane Black took the responsibility in his stead. Many critics and fans called this part largely inferior to the first two movies.
Iron Man 2 (2010)
The sequel to the first Iron Man, this one did a decent job to tie the strings together at the climax. The movie lacked a few finishing touches, but, Robert Downey Jr made sure to fill the gaps with his mind blowing action sequences and adrenaline rush – inducing drama. The movie ended on a good note with Tony Stark and Rhodes getting medals. This is also the movie where Black Widow appeared for the first time.
Captain America: Civil War
The movie basically spins around the friction and the rift between the Avengers after Tony Stark ed the Accords and the government interference, and Captain America didn’t. Most of the fans loved this movie better than Age Of Ultron. Tony Stark arc and Robert Downey Jr's performance was brilliant and overall the climax served as a perfect teaser for many things to come.
The Avengers (2012)
The very first team up from the MCU The Avengers, was packed with amazing actors, mind blowing action scenes and brilliant special effects. The climax was really satisfying as everything came to conclusion with Loki and the Tesseract successfully escorted back to Asgard. The movie also proved to be a stepping stone for much bigger and better Avengers sequels in the franchise.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
One of the best movies and definitely the second best climax in the franchise, Infinity War left no stones unturned. The movie also proved that one could make a movie with more than 20 lead characters and yet do justice to all of them more or less equally.
The heart wrenching climax was the most powerful moment of Infinity War. Tony Stark used the opportunity to be a family man although it didn’t last very long.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
With an extremely intense climax, the exit from his iconic Iron Man character, in whose shoes, no one would be able to imagine anyone else, for a very long time. The movie won two 25th Critics' Choice Awards and Academy Awards for the Best Visual Effects. This movie has certainly raised the bar for every filmmaker out there in the world.
Iron Man (2008)
The origin story of super cool Iron Man, this movie introduced us to Robert Downey Jr’s calibre and charisma. Obviously, this movie wins the best climax hands down, over all the others combined. A hero was born not only in the form of Iron Man, but, as RDJ too as we saw him evolve in his real life simultaneously. It is widely considered as the greatest MCU movie ever and the climax was surely top of the world.
