The Energon Universe had a successful launch in 2023, and now the Skybound Entertainment line of comics combining the worlds of Transformers and G.I. Joe is looking to keep the ball rolling in 2024. A new trailer has been released, teasing the future of Transformers, G.I. Joe and the original title Void Rivals. It promises big things for the new year, as the Energon Universe continues to develop its shared continuity in exciting ways.

Skybound promises big events for the coming year, as the ongoing war between the Decepticons and the Autobots plays out on Earth and beyond:

The Energon Universe Promises Epic Storylines for 2024

After the Shockwave will soon be a major player, it will be most interesting to see how all of this plays out in the coming year.

Duke and Cobra Commander round out the current Energon Universe offerings, and the two miniseries have already unveiled major revelations about the line moving forward. Joshua Williamson and Tom Reilly have chronicled how Energon is already being used to make weapons on Earth in Duke #1, and Williamson and Andrea Milana revealed that Megatron is currently the prisoner of the hidden society Cobra-La in Cobra Commander #1. With two more G.I. Joe-themed miniseries yet to be announced, it will be interesting to see if the Joe and Cobra organizations will finally form in the new continuity in 2024.
