The latest alleged leaks regarding The Elder Scrolls universe. Apart from the company trademarking the name Redfall back in 2018, there hasn't been much information on the subject released.

This lack of concrete information hasn't stopped fans of The Elder Scrolls franchise from coming up with their own theories, however. Despite the fact that there are currently two games set in The Elder Scrolls universe available for players to enjoy right now, ideas about The Elder Scrolls 6 and present them as leaked information, just to get the community excited.

Recently, a massive amount of (fake) information was posted to Starfield, and would be used in The Elder Scrolls 6's world to travel to different islands by boat.

Elder Scrolls 6 Skyrim VR

Unfortunately, as revealed on Reddit by u/KingKRoolVsCiri, the above information, including the game's alleged Q4 2024 release date and claims of "the biggest city Bethesda has ever built," was all fabricated. The person who created the fake leaks even produced a forged non-disclosure agreement, which is part of the reason why the leaks gained so much traction so quickly.

This is incredibly disappointing, and not just because a lot of the ideas proposed in the fake leaks for The Elder Scrolls 6 sound like they would have been really fun to experience in a real game. After the massive Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls 6 becomes, the more they will think about looking somewhere else for their fantasy RPG experiences. Even if the game isn't ready to be released, it's been long enough for Bethesda to have something, anything, to show players they are still working on The Elder Scrolls 6... if that is indeed what they are still doing after all this time.
