Jolán & Anna make up one of the strongest Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. The two Swordhands of Night bring both melee and ranged damage to the battlefield and provide high Bleed and Pressure. While they are expensive to summon at 144 FP, you don't want to them up.

The one problem with this Spirit Ash is that it's hard to collect and requires a specific set of circumstances to unlock. Before you can even think about collecting Jolán & Anna, you'll first need to have the Swordhand of Night Jolán Spirit Ash on hand. From there, you can visit what remains of Anna and form one of the best Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring's DLC.

How To Get Swordhand Of Night Jolán Spirit Ash In Elden Ring

You Need To Complete Count Ymir's Questline

Swordhand Of Night Jolán is a specific Spirit Ash that can be unlocked at the end of Count Ymir's questline in Elden Ring. This questline involves visiting the various Finger Ruins of the Land of Shadow and ringing the bells within. To start the quest, speak to Count Ymir at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. This is the large building surrounded by water on the east side of Scadu Altus.

Count Ymir's quests are straightforward; he will give you a map leading to one of the Finger Ruins, and your task is to ring the bell within. Once you ring the bell in the third ruin, the Finger Ruins of Miyr, you'll enter a boss battle against Metyr, Mother of Fingers. Metyr is weak to Bleed damage, so bring along Spirit Ashes like Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, alongside 420,000 Runes.

After defeating Metyr, head back to Count Ymir. When you get to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, you'll get attacked by Jolán in an Invasion. Defeat Jolán, and you'll then contend with Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers, who has taken Metyr's powers for his own. Once that is done, Jolán will lay defeated nearby. In order to get Swordhand of Night Jolán, you must give her the Iris of Grace, found in Shadow Keep's Storehouse.

Giving Jolán the Iris of Grace will lock you out of getting the Sword of Night.

Where To Find Anna's Puppet Body In Elden Ring

It's On The Top Floor Of Rabbath's Rise

Now that you have Swordhand of Night Jolán in your collection of Elden Ring Spirit Ashes, you can get Jolán & Anna. Head to the Shaman Village in Scaduview, located on the hill overlooking Scadu Altus' Church District Highroad Site of Grace. Go to the cliffs just south of the village, climb down, and you'll eventually jump onto the balcony of Rabbath's Rise, where you'll find the puppet body of Anna. Following this path from Shaman Village is the only way to get to the top of Rabbath's Rise.

Accessing Scaduview requires the O, Mother Gesture. This Gesture can be found beside a Statue of Marika north of Bonny Village, one of many common markers for Scadutree Fragments in Elden Ring.

Once you find Anna's puppet body, you'll be asked to combine her spirit with Jolán's. This will give you the prized Jolán & Anna Spirit Ash. These spirits can get you through difficult times once you get past the point of no return in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
