You Will First Need To Unlock The Scadu Altus Region

The location where the beat Rellana in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree at the end of the Castle Ensis legacy dungeon. Once that is done, you can move forward and unlock the first Site of Grace in Scadu Altus, called Highroad Cross.

From there, you will need to head north following the road and, where there is an exit to the plateau below, take a right and head west.

After reaching this lower level in Scadu Altus, head south, and, after ing a small lake on your right side, you should arrive at Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. This dungeon’s entrance in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring is represented by a large building, though access to it is through a small hole in the wall.

You Will Need To Face Enemies & Solve A Puzzle

Once you head inside and interact with the Site of Grace therein, you can safely start exploring the location. It is worth noting that there are no boss fights in Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. However, despite the lack of a boss, this can be a very dangerous dungeon to explore, as it is filled with enemies like Misbegotten, Fire Blob, and Golem Smiths. The secret to getting Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is to interact with the hidden anvil-shaped altar inside this dungeon.

To do so, you will need to find a third lever within the dungeon and pull it. Once that is done, use the nearby iron door that rises as a platform to reach the second floor where the anvil is located. Once you interact with the altar, you will also gain an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, though the item cannot be used to upgrade this Colossal Sword since the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword uses Somber Smithing Stone [1] .

As demonstrated by the video, you do not even have to face the enemies per si, but it is necessary to figure out the lever puzzle. Once you interact with the anvil-shaped altar, you will automatically gain the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. You can immediately equip it and, if your stats match its requirements, you can take advantage of the White Light Charge ability.

The Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword scales primarily off Strength, though Arcane also plays an important role in maxing out its skills. One of its requirements is Dexterity, but that stat-scaling affects the weapon a lot less. While not the best Colossal Sword in the game, the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword can offer Strength players fresh gameplay options, especially due to the speed granted by the White Light Charge weapon skill.
