The Best New Spirit Ashes From Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC

Which Spirit Ashes Should You Use

The gravebird spirit fights an enemy in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

With all these new Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, one of the most important questions is which new summons to prioritize collecting over others. Not all Spirit Ashes are made equal, after all. Although collecting this Spirit Ash can be a hassle, Jolán and Anna have become one of the strongest Spirit Ashes in the game. They have a diverse set of attacks, both melee and ranged. While their FP cost is extremely high, they have a strong damage to DTS percentage, making them a powerhouse in battle.

If you want a tank as your spirit summon who uses fists like cannonballs, you should summon Taylew the Golem Smith. Taylew staggers the enemy with powerful melee attacks.

Taylew has become another top-tier Spirit Ash that can provide the melee missing in certain builds. While Taylew is another more expensive summon, it's worth the cost.

When you traverse the gardens of Enir-Ilim, make sure to grab the Inquisitor Ashes. The two Inquisitors summoned by this Spirit Ash provide diverse abilities. They have both melee and ranged fire attacks, thanks to their candlesticks. They also have incredible AoE healing to keep you alive through the toughest fights.

Ancient Dragon Florissax is another Spirit Ash you don't want to miss, thanks to its powerful arrival into battle. Upon summoning this Spirit Ash, it will cast Dragonbolt of Florissax, a new Incantation that boosts damage negation. This spirit will charge into battle with various melee attacks. However, be careful if you want to collect this Spirit Ash, as it locks you out of collecting the Priestess Heart.

Finally, if you want to be picky with the new Spirit Ashes you summon, don't skip out on Demi-Human Swordman Yosh Ash. This Spirit is quick and flexible, dealing strong attacks with great Pressure. The boss you collect this Spirit Ash from may be optional, but it's worth the battle to have Yosh on your side through the new perils of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
