Elden Ring Nightreign has a load of excellent legendary weapons modeled after some of the most iconic weapons from the original Elden Ring. These weapons and their associated skills will be more than familiar to fans of the franchise, but legendary weapons aren't quite as straightforward to track down in Nightreign. Picking up a legendary weapon is essentially a matter of luck in Nightreign, but when you do get one that you can actually use, it will increase your chances of reaching and defeating the Night Lord considerably.
You can experiment and practice with the various legendary weapons when Shifting Earth environment that allows you to upgrade any weapon to the legendary level.

Best Nightfarer For Solo Mode In Elden Ring Nightreign
Elden Ring Nightreign's solo expeditions are incredibly challenging, but I had the best luck with Revenant due to the Nightfarer's summons.
There are a total of 26 legendary weapons in the game, and these are largely limited to melee and bladed weapons, with one legendary staff available, though it's an extremely rare find. There are no legendary Seals, Shields, or Bows in Nightreign, though there is one legendary Greatbow.

How Legendary Weapons Work In Nightreign
Legendary Weapons Can Drop From Powerful Enemies
Because Nightreign has so many randomized elements, you're never guaranteed to find any particular legendary weapon during a match. In fact, it's very likely you won't find any during your runs when first starting out, though they become slightly more common as you progress into the "mid-game" and have unlocked each Shifting Earth environment. There are typically far more difficult bosses in the heart of these cataclysms, and they are more likely to drop a legendary weapon than other bosses.

New Elden Ring Nightreign Update Is Now Live With Dozens Of Fixes
A new update has been released for Elden Ring Nightreign, and it includes updates to solo play balancing, bug fixes, improvements, and a lot more.
One of the first Shifting Earth environments you can unlock is The Crater, in which there is a unique "secret" that will actually allow you to upgrade any armament to Legendary status. You'll have to travel to the very bottom of the crater on the map and defeat the Magma Wyrm, after which you'll be able to grab a Dormant Power and access a unique Smithing Table. You can use the Legendary Ascension option to upgrade any item you have to Legendary level. This will also unlock a trophy called "The Crater."
You can shift the Earth to a new environment by sleeping in bed in the eastern wing of the Roundtable Hold.
Overall, legendaries in Elden Ring Nightreign are extremely rare, but also incredibly powerful. They will give you a serious advantage during any playthrough thanks to their unique ive effects. You'll need every advantage you can get if you want to defeat every Nightlord, and having a legendary weapon equipped will give you one of the greatest advantages, especially if you pick one up that is effective against a Nightlord's weakness. Further, if you're in the Crater, make sure you take advantage of the Legendary Ascension feature.
