Duck Dynasty is making its much-anticipated return to reality TV with Duck Dynasty: The Revival on A&E this summer. The long-running show followed the lives of the Robertson family of duck hunters in Louisiana. A&E aired the show from 2012 to 2017, making several Robertson family huge reality stars during the show's reign. Patriarch Phil Robertson and his wife, Kay "Miss Kay" Robertson, raised four boys: Alan Robertson, Jase Robertson, Willie Robertson, and Jep Robertson in the family business of duck-hunting.
The show centered around the Robertson family and their faith.
After controversy surrounding homophobic and racist remarks by Phil, the Robertson family have tried to overcome the negative publicity. Many of their grandkids became focal points of the show, including granddaughters Sadie Robertson, Rebecca Robertson, and Bella Robertson, and grandsons Will Robertson and John Luke Robertson. Since the show ended, many have gone onto careers in media, through influencing or podcasting, in addition to other endeavors.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival Has Been Announced By A&E
In January, A&E released a statement that they would be rebooting Duck Dynasty as, fittingly, Duck Dynasty: The Revival after an eight-year absence. The show has been green-lit for two seasons—20 one-hour episodes—following the family on their journey after their hit show left TV.
"Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We're thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can't wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures," said Willie and Korie in the press release.
A lot has changed for the Robertsons. The refreshed show will focus on Willie and his wife, Korie Robertson. Their children, John Luke Robertson, Sadie Robertson Huff, Will Robertson, Bella Robertson Mayo, and Rebecca Robertson Loflin, will also get screentime.

Willie And Korie Will Head Up Revival Cast
As much as things have changed, some things have stayed the same. Willie, who described himself as "semi-retired" from the family business in an Instagram promo for the show, said there were still things he needed to teach his kids about the "Robertson DNA." The promo also shows Sadie saying she is "not about squirrel," to which her Uncle Si responds that they are all "a bunch of yuppies."
The cast of Duck Dynasty: The Revival will be mostly familiar faces. Korie and Willie Robertson and their brood, aside from son Rowdy Robertson, are slated to appear. Other familiar faces, like Miss Kay, Uncle Si Robertson, and Jase, are also scheduled to appear on Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
