the adventure serial presented more of an unveiling. Turns out Harry wasn't exactly who they thought she was, and it's all due to the fact that her people have a long history of being able to hide in plain sight: she fights with the heart of Wakanda at her side.
By this point in time readers had come to know Harry as the less talkative pilot who was getting the small ragtag team from point A to point B, but it turned out that she was far more than she originally let on. When the team found themselves betrayed by one of their own, and in quite a pickle, Harry knew that it wasn't the end for them, she knew it was time for her to fight. Bursting free from her hood and shades, she revealed herself to be none other than a Wakandan, Dora Milaje warrior in disguise. Some of the fiercest, and most secret, warriors in the world, and she was one of them: sent to protect an ancient power said to be far greater than even the vibranium for which her homeland steadfastly guarded.
This came much to everyone's surprise, Mr. Parker's included. Harry turned out to be Hu-r, a Wakandan warrior whose mission is to protect what lies beneath the sand from anyone and everyone; especially those who intend to use its mythical power for harm. And like her counterparts in other comics, she is an extremely strong and talented warrior, one that good ole' Spidey is lucky to have fighting alongside him. Of course, she isn't just fighting for them, she is fighting on orders from her king, fighting to protect what they swore to guard. But, in this era and storyline, Wakanda still largely remains a secret, and the small team was eager to find out just who they were dealing with. Surely they didn't expect their pilot put her blade to good use in defending herself, her friends, and the legendary M'Kraan crystal.
Unfortunately, as amazing as her timing seemed, it also brought with it the Nazi's final key in unleashing the power said to lie beyond the ancient doors. She battled and fought with the heart of Wakanda beating through her, working with Spider-Man and Checkpoint Red to thwart their mutual enemies, but it wasn't enough to stop the traitorous Nazi Huma. Just as the team seemed victorious, Hu-r got blasted into the door while holding the key and thus opening the gates against her will. Although Marvel Comics' Spider-Man Noir team seems to be in a whole new level of bad circumstances now that the gates have been opened, they can at least feel some comfort in the fact that their pilot was actually a powerful warrior this whole time; and you can bet that she will not go down without a fight.
