Bouncy, whimsical, platforming battle royale one of the games up for Game of the Year at the Game Awards.

Fall Guys is no stranger to crossovers. Over the course of its lifespan thus far it's seen some very surprising faces its roster, including major gaming figures like Sonic the Hedgehog. Recently the game enjoyed a Untitled Goose Game. The event delivered three new costumes to participating players, letting them dress up as the avian agent of chaos itself, or two of the townsfolk doomed to fall victim to its crimes.

A new crossover is imminent, and this one is sure to take a lot of fans by surprise. Fall Guys posted a mysterious silhouette of the new skin on its 's legendary protagonist Doom Guy, albeit altered to fit the pudgy frame of a Fall Guys jelly bean. As if further confirmation were needed, Bethesda's own Pete Hines retweeted the announcement, all but confirming the identity of Fall Guys' newest guest star.

This is certainly a surprising crossover, as one would be hard pressed to find many similarities between DOOM Eternal and Fall Guys. The former is one of the most graphically violent games on the market today, and the latter is, frankly, adorable. With the exception of some Mario games than they are to DOOM Eternal's gauntlets of gore.

Fall Guys seems to have a pretty bright future ahead of it. It's fallen a bit out of public favor due to the incredible preeminence of Among Us, but in of content it's still going strong. Recently the game announced its third season of content, with a bright and cheery winter theme which is sure to suit the season. Dedicated Fall Guys fans are certain to have a blast exploring everything the new season has to offer. Especially if they get to do it while dressed up like the DOOM Guy.
