The first episode of Doctor Who season 15's two-part finale premieres on Disney+ this Saturday, May 24th, and there are a few clues to dissect about what that dramatic conclusion has in store. Jamie H. Cowan - writer and contributor to the Doctor Who Universe - shared some stills from the Doctor Who episode on X, ranging from close-ups of the episode 4 antagonist, Conrad Clark (Jonah Hauer-King), to wide shots of what appears to be all of UNIT behind blast doors.
The details of those images are certainly enough to start piecing together the Doctor Who finale. Taken collectively with the reveal from episode 6 that Ncuti Gatwa's fifteenth Doctor will have to face at the end of his second season.
13 Conrad Clark And The Rani
Looking On From The Ivory Tower
The first image Doctor Who image shared shows three figures looking down from a grand, gilded room. On the right is Anita Dobson as Mrs. Flood, revealed at the end of episode 6 to be a Rani. In the center is Archie Panjabi as the Rani. On the left is Jonah Hauer-King, presumably still playing the episode 4 antagonist and conspiracy theorist, Conrad Clark.
Perhaps the most important detail in this image is the device in the Rani's right hand - this could be our first glimpse of the Rani's sonic screwdriver.
12 Mrs. Flood In A Police Car
And She's Spotted Something
The second image in this collection shows Mrs. Flood in a police car while dressed as an officer. Although she’s spent the past two seasons of Doctor Who pretending to be human and not a Time Lady, Mrs. Flood has never been shown as a police officer. After bigenerating at the end of episode 6, Mrs. Flood seemed to consider herself an assistant to the Rani, so she could be working on the Rani's behalf. The fact that it's in a police car specifically might be a way of taunting the Doctor, whose TARDIS is shaped like a police box.
11 Surprise! Conrad Clark Can Read
He's Reading Doctor Who And The Reality War
Yet another image of Conrad Clark shows him relaxing in a strange white room, reading a book whose design looks suspiciously similar to the UK covers of the Harry Potter books. But this book is not about wizard school - the slightly blurry title appears to read "Doctor Who and the Reality War."

Conrad Clark Was Awful In Doctor Who, But Said One Small Thing I Couldn't Help But Agree With
Doctor Who's latest bad guy is a detestable villain, but despite his lack of awareness and his flawed logic, he did manage to make one good point.
This seems to suggest that, even in the alternate Earth created and ruled by the Rani, the Doctor still exists, even if only as a fictional character. The reality war in question could also be a reference to the Doctor's ongoing conflicts with the gods.
10 A Very Domestic Doctor And Mel
iring Changes In The Neighborhood
The first image of the Doctor in the collection shows him enjoying a quaint life in the suburbs. His bowler hat, briefcase, and umbrella give the Doctor an uncanny resemblance to Mr. Banks (David Tomlinson) from Mary Poppins. But even in this strange version of reality, the Doctor’s not alone. He is ed by former companion and UNIT employee, Melanie "Mel" Bush (Bonnie Langford). I am particularly interested in the orange object in Mel's hands, which could be a purse, a dust pan, or an envelope. Either way, it will be exciting to see what's inside.
9 The Doctor And Belinda At Home
With Some Shocking Mugs
It is good to see the Doctor and Ms. Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) in this still. The Doctor is in his formal suit, whereas Belinda seems comfortable with her hair down, wearing a housecoat. Both the Doctor and Belinda seem taken aback by a collection of yellow mugs on the table. Based on the layout of the mugs and the Doctor's hand position, it’s possible he was bouncing something into them. Based on his shocked expression, there’s certainly something strange in the way the mugs themselves behave, or the way the thrown object bounced.
8 The Rami In Uniform
In A Log Cabin In Space
In most of the stills from the Doctor Who finale, the Rami is always with Mrs. Flood. But, in this image, she’s alone. Her buttoned vest, cloak, and leather gloves are suggestive of a classic English hunt, and the dead rabbits hanging from the ceiling are in line with that.

Doctor Who Must Answer 3 Questions For The Mrs. Flood Reveal To Make Sense
The mystery of Mrs. Flood has finally be solved, but the reveal left three big questions that I hope are also answered in the near future.
What seems particularly interesting is the rustic log cabin juxtaposed with the elegant Rami and strange background boxes. It’s possible this cabin is just part of the vintage aesthetic of the Rami's world, but it’s also worth noting that everything here seems wooden, and sonic screwdrivers don't work on wood.
7 Ruby Sunday And Shirley Face Down Danger
While Conrad Smiles In The Background
In this image, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) stands strong with Shirley Bingham (Ruth Madeley) and an as-yet unknown other character. While the three of them do seem to be willing to face down whatever is coming, they certainly do not look happy about it. But perhaps the most interesting details of this image are the posters of Conrad Clark in the background. One poster reads "WHAT WOULD CONRAD DO." This suggests that not only is Conrad powerful, but he is also some sort of cultural icon.
6 The Doctor And UNIT Are Authorized Personnel
But They May Be Locked In
While other images suggest the Rani and Conrad have taken control of a warped version of UNIT, this picture seems to reveal the of the UNIT team alive and well. UNIT director Kate Lethbridge-Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) and the Doctor both look up with a smile, while golden light shines on their faces. What’s particularly interesting, however, are the doors they're all standing behind. They’re labeled "AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY" and it’s unclear whether UNIT are behind the doors by choice, or if the out-of-focus figure in the foreground is locking them in.
5 The Doctor's Daughter Could Return
Or A Foster Sister Of Ruby Sunday
In this image, the Doctor is talking to a baby, and there are several important details to note here. Firstly, one of the mugs that disturbed the Doctor and Belinda is sitting by the Doctor's elbow. Second, the yellow paint and wooden table mean that this is likely in the same house. Third, there is something on the Doctor's nose, but whether it is an abrasion or some baby food is impossible to say.
If this illusory baby is, in some way, the Doctor's child, it would not be the first time that unforeseen circumstances forced the Doctor into parenthood. In 2008, David Tennat's Doctor also had a child through alien technology in "The Doctor's Daughter."
All this is to say nothing of the identity of the mystery baby. It is possible that this is another foster sibling of Ruby Sunday, but it is also possible that this baby is part of the domestic illusion that has trapped the Doctor and Belinda.
4 Something Interrupts Belinda's Bliss
And Her House Might Be Important
In this solo shot of Belinda, she speaks into a landline while looking at something upsetting offscreen. While it may seem like a small detail, Belinda is wearing wedding rings. From her very first episode, Belinda has been defined as Ms Belinda Chandra, not Mrs. or Miss. Since Doctor Who centers on time travel, it’s always possible that this is a relationship from Belinda's future. But the painting and molding in this house suggest it’s the house she shares with the Doctor. It seems likely that, in the Rami's illusory reality, Belinda and the Doctor think they are married.
