Owing to its wide variety of iconic creatures and locales, Dungeons & Dragons has long been a prominent source of physical merchandise, with a sizable market in figures, minis, and other collectibles. The time is ripe for new merchandise for the game, as the tabletop RPG recently announced that it will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024 with the launch of One DnD, a new ruleset for the long-running experience. With several other expansions and events in the works, including a collaboration between LEGO and Dungeons & Dragons, WizKids' impressively realistic Pseudodragon statue marks yet another release among many to build hype towards the next iteration of DnD.

While some may find the Pseudodragon statue to be somewhat pricey (though it is much cheaper than its quasit counterpart), it remains an impressive realization of one of DnD's popular creatures. Physical goods are growing increasingly unnecessary for actually playing DnD, especially with DnD Beyond marking the release of an entirely digital tool-set for the game. However, while decorative products like this life-size pseudodragon are certainly not required for actual play, they're still quite valuable for fans.

While WizKids has long been a popular provider of DnD-themed goods such as minis, figures, and sets, the newly unveiled Pseudodragon statue is perhaps among the company's most impressive products. With One DnD possibly being the final edition of the series, and ushering in a substantial shift to digital play, some DnD players may begin to eschew physical goods. However, for collectors and other Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts, WizKids' pseudodragon is likely to make a welcome and adorable addition to numerous shelves, tables, and countertops.
