coronavirus pandemic forced them to delay their plans, thus also prompting studios to delay their releases one more time. As a result, streaming services will continue to be the go-to source of entertainment of many, and luckily, Disney+ has more new content coming up in August.
Last month, Disney+ welcomed movies like Ice Age: Collision Course, The Mighty Ducks, andHamilton, along with new episodes of some of the platform’s original TV shows. August will bring more content from National Geographic, more episodes of shows like One Day at Disney and Pixar in Real Life, and a lot of movies that came with the Fox package.
In addition to that, and due to the big schedule shake-up the coronavirus pandemic has caused, Disney+ will be the one to release a fantasy movie based on a children’s book and starring Bryan Cranston, Sam Rockwell, and Angelina Jolie, as well as a documentary on the life of one of Disney’s most famous lyricists, and the second feature film of a popular animated series. Here’s everything new to Disney+ in August 2020.
