When Does The Stitch Gift Set Come Out?

The Stitch Gift Set will be released alongside the rest of Azurite Sea: on November 15, 2024, in hobby shops and select retailers at Disney theme parks, and on November 25 everywhere, including at online retailers. Certain stores at the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disneyland Paris will stock the set beginning on November 15. This continues Lorcana's tradition of releasing new sets and other products at hobby shops and theme parks first, then bringing them to bigger retailers some time after.

The Stitch Gift Set will cost $49.99 USD at launch, no matter which retailer players purchase it from. This is a pretty typical price for Lorcana gift sets; Into the Inklands went for the same cost, but contained more collectibles.

A Unique Foil Promo Card & Some Booster Packs

With every Stitch Gift Set, players will receive a unique promo foil card: Stitch - Alien Buccaneer, as pictured above. This is a Floodborn card depicting Stitch in his pirate getup, standing atop the crow's nest of a ship. It excels in a deck with multiple Stitch cards, as a player can pay extra lore to play Alien Buccaneer on top of a different Stitch card, allowing them to put an action card from their discard pile on the top of their deck. This promo card has a unique foil coating; when held to the light, it resembles rippling water, playing on the set's nautical theme.

Besides that, players will also receive four Azurite Sea booster packs, each containing 12 cards. That gives a grand total of 49 cards included in the Stitch Gift Set, including the foil promo card. These may include any number of cards: each booster pack contains six commons, three uncommons, two rares, super rares, or legendaries, and a foil card of random rarity. Therefore, of the 49 included in the Gift Set, players can expect to find 24 common cards, 12 uncommon cards, eight rare/super rare/legendary cards, and five foil cards.

The highlights to look out for in this set are its four rares, which may be found in any booster pack. These are:

Azurite Sea also brings the entire main cast of Big Hero 6 to Lorcana for the first time, with eight cards depicting the of the titular squad of heroes. Players can collect Go Go Tomago - Darting Dynamo, Honey Lemon - Chemical Genius, Fred - Mascot by Day, Wasabi - Methodical Engineer, and two versions each of Baymax (Personal Healthcare Companion and Armored Companion) and Hiro Hamada (Robotics Prodigy and Team Leader) when the Azurite Sea set comes to stores this fall.

Finally, Azurite Sea includes several new cards featuring the cast of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers. These are Chip - Friend Indeed, Dale - Friend in Need, Gadget Hackwrench - Brilliant Bosun, and the Rescue Rangers Away! action card. These expand the Rescue Rangers representation in Lorcana, introducing Gadget Hackwrench to the card game for the very first time.

Note that there are many other cards included in Azurite Sea, and there's no guarantee that players will find any of the above when purchasing the Stitch Gift Set. These are just the highlights of the Azurite Sea set, and the contents of each booster pack are subject to a certain degree of randomness.

A Stitch Card Portfolio - Plus, Other Collectibles Available With Azurite Sea

Besides the cards, the Stitch Gift Set also comes with a unique collectible: a card portfolio featuring Stitch in his various forms. Adorned with images of Stitch enjoying a day at the beach, swashbuckling as a buccaneer, and surfing the waves, this portfolio is designed for the easy and neat storage of a Lorcana collection. Players can use it to store their Azurite Seas hauls, or a larger collection of Lorcana sets, using its sleeves to display and organize cards.

That's everything in the Stitch Gift Set, but other releases alongside Azurite Sea contain a variety of different collectibles. The Illumineer's Trove is the largest package, including eight booster packs, a lore counter, and six card dividers. Players can also purchase card sleeves and boxes separately, with art featuring Winnie the Pooh and Scar respectively.
