Over a year into the lifespan of Azurite Sea will be the sixth set released for the game, introducing over 200 new cards and a selection of products that could appeal to both veteran players and newcomers.
Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea has characters set sail on a quest to repair the Great Illuminary, a central treasury of Disney songs and stories in the world of Lorcana. Unsurprisingly, a number of new cards will be taking on a nautical theme, but it isn't just a lineup of pirates and mariners. Characters from Big Hero 6 and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers are making their Disney Lorcana debut, while returning icons like Stitch, Tigger, and Jim Hawkins don seafaring gear for new cards and accessories.

When Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea Will Release
Disney Lorcana sets always follow a staggered release pattern, and Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea will be no exception. The new set can be found on the shelves of local game stores, brick and mortar Disney Stores, and Disney Park retail establishments on November 15, 2024. The wide release to other big box stores follows ten days later on November 25, a slight reduction from the two-week gap that previous sets established. Plenty of stores should offer pre-order opportunities, although availability online might be more limited than in-person options.
Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea Products & Prices
The Full Azurite Sea Product Lineup
Aside from occasional shakeups, the core product lineup for Disney Lorcana sets tends to be fairly predictable at this point, and Azurite Sea doesn't do anything major to rock the boat. The best way to jump into the game remains the $16.99 Starter Decks that release with each expansion, and Azurite Sea is adding two more. An Amber/Ruby combination features Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet along with Tigger, and an Emerald/Sapphire deck pairs Big Hero 6's GoGo Tomago with Gadget Hackwrench from Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers.

- 6 common cards
- 3 uncommon cards
- 2 rare, super rare, or legendary cards
- 1 foil card of any rarity
For those looking to grab a fair number of booster packs, the Azurite Sea Illumineer's Trove pairs eight with a number of useful accessories for play and a box to store everything in. A Stitch Collector's Gift Set focuses on the fan-favorite chaotic alien creature, containing a card portfolio, four booster packs, and a promo card that features a "water foil" treatment, a first for Disney Lorcana. Azurite Sea won't feature any standalone portfolio releases, so the only way to get a new one is to invest in this $49.99 package.

D23 2024: Disney Lorcana Co-Designers Discuss Pixar, Bucky's Errata, And Ariel's Origin
Disney Lorcana co-designers Ryan Miller and Steve Warner share their fondest memories and biggest challenges, tease Pixar cards, and explain Bucky.
Disney Lorcana: Azurite Sea accessories make use of character art that originally appeared on cards in prior sets. Two new deck boxes and sets of card sleeves feature Scar and Winnie the Pooh, with the Scar art pulled from a recent Shimmering Skies Legendary card. Donald Duck and Elsa are the stars of new playmats, with the Donald Duck - Buccaneer illustration nicely matching the Azurite Sea theme.

Every Azurite Sea Card Revealed So Far
Disney Lorcana publisher Ravensburger has already revealed 19 cards that will be included in the set, many of them showcasing the new characters from Big Hero 6 and Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers. One more card featuring Big Hero 6 character Gogo Tamago can be seen in the product image for the Emerald/Sapphire starter deck. Among the new reveals are two Legendary cards, featuring Big Hero 6's Baymax and The Emperor's New Groove's Yzma. No Enchanted cards were showcased with the announcement of Azurite Sea, although reveals are sure to come.

As usual, both of the new Legendary cards have the potential to be power players, although neither feels likely to be completely game-changing. Baymax - Armored Companion can remove damage from chosen characters and gain lore for doing so, making him a powerful option despite the lack of noteworthy offensive power. Yzma - Conniving Chemist focuses on card draw for Amethyst decks, as exerting her allows the player to draw until they have three cards in their hand.

Disney Lorcana: Shimmering Skies Illumineer's Trove & Card Binders Review - The Good Times Keep Rolling
Disney Lorcana's Shimmering Skies Illumineer's Trove is good value, and its binder product is nice, too.
One of the six new card dividers in the Azurite Sea Illumineer's Trove box also features new Hercules art that presumably confirms an Azurite Sea Hercules card, but that one hasn't yet been revealed. ing for everything shown so far, there should still be over 180 more cards to come, with plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. There's no indication of any major new mechanics in Azurite Sea, but there should still be plenty of appeal in the new set for dedicated Disney Lorcana fans.
