Disney Lorcana is constantly getting new sets that add exciting mechanics, even more cards, and popular characters from across Disney's library of excellent films. Past sets have really changed how fans approach Lorcana, such as by adding the incredibly useful and at times game-breaking Location cards. Fortunately, people haven't had to wait too long for the next set, Archazia's Island, which is not only introducing Illusion cards but also dual-types, something that fans have been looking forward to seeing for quite some time.
Luckily, a handful of cards from Archazia's Island have been revealed, giving players an insight into what they can expect when the set finally releases. These cards were shown off via the official Disney Lorcana website, not through leaks, which is great for fans. While many of the cards are fairly standard - but still feature popular characters - many of them are truly game-changing. From the new dual-type cards to just really strong characters, there are lots of incredible cards coming in the Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set.
10 Penny - Bolt's Person
A Good Card For A Low Cost
One of the coolest cards from the new Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set is the character card, Penny - Bolt's Person. While fairly unassuming at first, largely due to her low cost and weak strength and willpower, Penny - Bolt's Person looks set to be an incredibly useful card that could help players out of a bind and save their most valuable card on the field.

Disney Lorcana Unveils Enchanted & Set Championship Cards For Archazia’s Island
Screen Rant exclusively reveals two Set Championship promo cards and a stunning Enchanted Hiro Hamada for Disney Lorcana: Archazia’s Island.
Not only does Penny - Bolt's Person quest for two, which will allow players to earn a lot of lore in the early game or boost them in the late game, but she can also remove two damage from any character thanks to her ability, Enduring Loyalty. That character then gains Resist +1, making it far harder to banish in the opponent's next turn. Penny - Bolt's Person may not rank among some of Disney Lorcana's very best cards, but her low cost, lore value, and abilities easily make her one of Archazia's Island's coolest.
9 Mittens - Sassy Street Cat
A Formidable Bodyguard
Mittens - Sassy Street Cat is yet another Bolt-related card, which is great for fans of the cult classic film. Mittens - Sassy Street Cat has pretty impressive artwork, which instantly makes her stand out. She also has decent strength and willpower - especially for the cost - which makes her a formidable ally on the field. However, it is her abilities and lore value that make her truly stand out.
Mittens - Sassy Street Cat is a bodyguard, which means that she will be the target of all the opponent's challenges during their turn. However, she also has the ability No Thanks Necessary, which gives every other bodyguard character on the player's side +1 lore for that turn whenever a card is added to their inkwell. Alongside her two lore, players can easily amass a huge amount of lore in just one turn, making her an extremely valuable Disney Lorcana card to have.
8 Dr. Calico - Green-Eyed Man
Almost Indestructible
Dr. Calico - Green-Eyed Man, who is a fictional movie villain within the Bolt film - it is all very meta - s the likes of Penny and Mittens, and serves as one of the Bolt set's central villain cards. For most players, it may seem like, outside of his cool art style, Dr. Calico - Green-Eyed Man may not be worth adding to a deck. However, skipping out on him could be a mistake, especially thanks to his incredibly powerful ability, You're Beginning To Irk Me.

Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island - Release Date, Cards, Preorders, & Prerelease Info
Disney Lorcana is releasing its seventh set, Archazia's Island this spring. Here is when the new cards are available and what's included in the set.
You're Beginning To Irk Me gives Dr. Calico - Green-Eyed Man Resist +2 when he has no damage. When combined with a character like Penny - Bolt's Person, or really any character or item that removes damage, Dr. Calico will quickly become a thorn in an opponent's side as, at least against their weaker characters, he'll be invincible to challenges. That's a valuable asset to have on the field, one that can be slowly earning lore in the background while other weaker characters do all the challenging.
7 Spaghetti Dinner - Item
A Great Way To Gain More Lore
Spaghetti Dinner is a new item card in the Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set that is from the Lady and the Tramp film. Much like the iconic scene, this card requires players to gather at least two characters to the field. However, if they manage to - which players will have done by the mid-game at the very latest - then they'll reap the benefits of its very useful effect, Fine Dining.
Fine Dining gives players one lore if they have two or more characters in play. That may seem like an unsubstantial amount, but it will quickly add up, especially if players make the most of the Puppy cards, which work in tandem to get as many on the field as quickly as possible. It also features some truly delicious Disney Lorcana artwork that may make players a little peckish, but the effect and low cost absolutely make up for it.
6 Tramp - Enterprising Dog
Works Best With Lady
Of course, the new Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set wouldn't be complete without the inclusion of both Tramp and Lady. Fortunately, it boasts several of both, including Tramp - Enterprising Dog, a fantastic and very cheap character card with great abilities that work perfectly with the likes of Spaghetti Dinner and the aforementioned Puppy cards.

Disney Lorcana Is On A Roll, But There's One Lesson From Pokémon TCG It Needs To Learn For 2025
Disney Lorcana is an incredible trading card game, but it has one important lesson to learn from the Pokémon TCG if it wants to become number one.
Tramp - Enterprising Dog costs just two ink to play, and while he only has one strength and three willpower - alongside a measly one lore value - his abilities more than makeup for it. Hey, Pidge allows the player to pay him for just one ink if they have a character named Lady on the field. Additionally, No Time For Wisecracks gives +1 strength to any character for each other character in play. Tramp - Enterprising Dog is essentially a surefire way to overcome a truly powerful enemy card, which could turn the tide of battle instantly.
5 Thunderbolt - Wonder Dog
A Very Powerful Bodyguard
Thunderbolt - Wonder Dog is one of Disney Lorcana's new dual-type cards and a powerful one at that. He works best with other Puppy cards thanks to his unique take on the shift mechanic, whic allows him to be played for just three ink if shifted onto a Puppy character. He's also a very powerful card, especially for his Ink cost of just five. He has three strength, which, while low, is still impressive, and seven willpower, which is what makes him the perfect bodyguard.
Thunderbolt - Wonder Dog is one of the more useful bodyguards in the Archazia's Island set. That isn't just because of his high willpower, although that helps immensely. Rather, his high lore value means that players can get a lot of lore across multiple turns before he is eventually banished. However, if paired with strong cards like Penny - Bolt's Person, Thunderbolt - Wonder Dog can stay around for a lot longer.
4 Elsa - Ice Maker
Perfect For Preventing Opponents From Playing
Elsa - Ice Maker is quite an expensive dual-type Disney Lorcana card. However, her high cost is absolutely worth it when her strong strength and willpower, as well as her ability Winter Wall, are taken into consideration. Winter Wall allows Elsa - Ice Maker to exert a chosen character whenever she quests, which, if a character named Anna is on the player's side of the field, can't then ready at the start of that player's turn.
While Elsa - Ice Maker is expensive - with a cost of seven ink - she does have the shift ability, allowing her to be placed on top of another character named Elsa for just four ink.
Obviously, players can use this ability to prevent an opponent's card from doing anything in their next turn, rendering it completely useless. This could save the player from a last-minute loss, especially if their opponent is relying on one strong card to carry them. It also gives the player more leeway in achieving their goals, giving them a moment of respite to adjust their strategy and win the match.
3 Lady - Miss Park Avenue
Bringing Cards Back From The Discard Pile
Lady - Miss Park Avenue is a very useful card in the Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set thanks to her ability, Something Wonderful. When she is played, the player can return up to two character cards that cost two ink or less from their discard pile and return them to their hand. This means that any weaker cards lost during the early game that still have a lot of use, such as the aforementioned Tramp - Enterprising Dog, can get a second chance and help boost the player's mid-game strategy.
Lady - Miss Park Avenue also has the shift ability, allowing her to get onto the field for just three ink, making her a surprisingly powerful early to mid-game card, despite her originally high ink cost. She also has a lore value of two, making her a great character to quest with. Ultimately, she's a very powerful card and one that can be used perfectly in conjunction with many of Archazia's Island's other cards.
2 Bolt - Superdog
Can Gain Lots Of Lore
Of course, with characters from Bolt taking center stage in the Archazia's Island set, it is no surprise that one of the coolest cards from both a design and mechanical standpoint is Bolt himself. Bolt - Superdog is a very powerful card that boasts three strength and five willpower as well as a lore value of two. He also has amazing art, featuring Bolt zooming across a bridge with a mechanical arm.
What makes Bolt - Superdog really stand out is his abilities, Mark of Power and Bolt Stare. The former gives the player one lore for every undamaged character they control each time Bolt is readied. The latter lets Bolt banish an Illusion character by exerting him, an ability that will surely prove useful. Bolt - Superdog is absolutely one of the coolest cards in the Archazia's Island set and makes his inclusion in Disney Lorcana absolutely worthwhile.
1 Belle - Mechanic Extraordinaire
An Exciting New Dual-Type Card
By far the coolest card in the entire Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set is Belle - Mechanic Extraordinaire. Playing into the steampunk aesthetic that's popular with a lot of Disney Lorcana cards, Belle - Mechanic Extraordinaire boasts amazing art and powerful abilities. With a rather high cost of nine - although she has a shift cost of seven - Belle - Mechanic Extraordinaire has seven strength and seven willpower as well as a lore value of three.

Disney Lorcana Reveals First Glimpse Of Original Character & Confirms Next Set Release Date
Ravensburger & Disney Lorcana released more information on three sets for 2025, including a new character and the release date for Reign of Jafar.
She also has two abilities: Salvage and Repurpose. Salvage decreases her cost to shift by one for every item in the player's discard pile while Repurpose allows her to place three item cards from the player's discard pile to the bottom of their deck every time she quests, and then give one lore per card. In theory, Belle - Mechanic Extraordinaire could earn the player six lore in one turn, which definitely makes her the coolest card in the Disney Lorcana: Archazia's Island set.
