Released on November 20, The Storybook Vale is the first installment of a two-part expansion , with the second to release in Summer of 2025 at no additional cost to the player. The expansion is the second expansion to be launched for Disney Dreamlight Valley, and is an impressive follow-up to the first, A Rift In Time. The Storybook Vale has introduced a huge amount of new content, quests and features for players to enjoy.

In addition to the Dreamlight Valley's money-making Pumpkins in The Storybook Vale, there are two crops in particular that players might like to make money from instead: Honeydew Melon and Radicchio.

Where To Find Honeydew Melon And Radicchio In The Storybook Vale

Goofy's Stall In Mythopia

Both Honeydew Melon and Radicchio can be found at Goofy's Stall in the biome of Mythopia. A player will need to collect 2,000 Story Magic in order to unlock the first area of Mythopia, The Elysian Fields, where they will come across Goofy's Stall. The Stall will need to be initially repaired, which will cost 3,000 Star Coins, with two more upgrades required to be able to access its full contents. Upon paying 12,000 Star Coins for the Stall's final upgrade, a player will be able to purchase Honeydew Melon Seed for 40 Star Coins, and Radicchio Seed for 50 Star Coins.

How To Earn Money With Honeydew Melon And Radicchio

Fast Grow Times And Good Profit Margins

While some of the new crops available in The Storybook Vale sell for more money, their profit is not as substantial as the profit that can be earned from growing and harvesting Honeydew Melon and Radicchio. Honeydew Melon takes 45 minutes to grow and can be sold for 125 Star Coins, which will earn a player a profit of 85 Star Coins. To make money from harvested Radicchio, their seeds take 1 hour to grow and their crop can be sold for 127 Star Coins, which will earn a profit of 77 Star Coins.

Although Pumpkins in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be sold for a whopping profit of 389 Star Coins, unless a player stocks up on their seeds from Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands before venturing to The Storybook Vale to plant them there, it might be more convenient to earn Star Coins with Honeydew Melon and Radicchio. Unlike Pumpkins, which take quite a long time of 4 hours to grow, the growth times for Honeydew Melon and Radicchio are relatively quick, so players can harvest and sell them pretty quickly. Honeydew Melon and Radicchio can be sold at any of Goofy's Stalls in any Disney Dreamlight Valley biome within The Storybook Vale.
