Timon and Pumbaa from Disney's The Lion King, as well as the ability for players to access The Lion King realm again in a new daylight cycle.
The Jungle Update has introduced a very exciting new feature called the Glider effect, which allows players to enable their character to not only cosmetically wear wings in the game, but to equip them as a means of transport. This brilliant new feature can now allow players of Disney Dreamlight Valley to experience and control their character flying around the Valley. While this feature is one of the very exciting new features that has gotten the game's player community buzzing about the game again, there is one new feature to come with the Jungle Update which has been the most eagerly anticipated feature in the update: the new Star Path, called "The Night Show."
The Night Show Star Path Is A Rock Music Fan's Dream
New Cosmetics & Items
Disney Dreamlight Valley's brand-new "The Night Show" Star Path began on October 9 and will run until November 27, 2024. The Star Path features a broad variety of items and cosmetic rewards inspired entirely by rock music, as well as some beloved Disney Villains and Disney Princesses. Players of the game can look forward to turning their Valley into an impressive rock-themed festival landscape with items to unlock, such as pyrotechnic displays, impressive neon lights to light up the Valley's skies and music items like equipment and gear. The cosmetic fashion items to come with "The Night Show" Star Path will appeal to those who enjoy exploring a more alternative style of fashion with rebellious, punk-style attire.
In order to be able to win the exclusive and limited edition prizes in "The Night Show" Star Path, players will need to complete a series of various duties and tasks to earn Rock Star tokens, which can be exchanged for the rock-themed reward items. There are also Tracks - which offer more than one duty to complete at a time - containing prizes which can be unlocked by using Moonstones. There is also a single-use option for players who choose not to purchase the Track option to be able to purchase 100 Rock Star Tokens for a discounted price of 800 Moostones (rather than 1,000) after the Star Path begins.

Trick-Or-Treat Event Likely Won't Be Enough To Compensate
While Disney Dreamlight Valley's "The Night Show" Star Path is an exciting new addition to the game, there is an unfortunately noticeable lack of seasonally-themed reward items in the new Star Path's tracks. As "The Night Show" Star Path has coincided with Halloween 2024, it would have been the perfect opportunity to introduce more Halloween-themed, spooky items to enjoy, and it does seem that Disney might have missed a trick here. With the likes of the Forgotten Lands and Glade of Trust biomes, it would have been nice for players to be able to earn spooky reward items to decorate these areas with for Halloween.
Despite the Trick-Or-Treat event happening in the game between October 23–31 for Halloween, it's clear that there has been a lack of festivity in Disney Dreamlight Valley this year. With the Jungle Update, there is a new Evil Queen costume available in the Shop, but it's not hard to notice the lack of Halloween-themed costume rewards available with the new Star Path. Ultimately, "The Night Show" is an exciting and fun new Star Path addition to the game that is still enjoyable nonetheless, but it brings hope that for Halloween next year, players will be able to enjoy a new Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley that is a little bit more celebratory of the spooky season itself.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will create their own Disney avatar as they interact with some of the most iconic characters in Disney and Pixar history. The story surrounds the dream castle and the realm it resides in, which is a place where several characters, hero and villain alike, have lived together in harmony. However, an evil force known as the Forgetting consumes the kingdom. It's up to the player to solve puzzles, reunite characters, and embark on feature-rich character storylines to save the Dream realm.
