A brand-new trailer for reveal trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed was released in September 2021, and the remake is set to make on August 30.

Pandemic Studios' Destroy All Humans! games put players in the role of Cryptosporidium 137, an alien invader tasked with harvesting human brain stems and protecting his race from extinction. The open-world titles let players abduct humans, pilot flying saucers and wreak havoc using Crypto's large arsenal of psychic superpowers and otherworldly weapons. The 2020 remake of Destroy All Humans! preserved the original game's chaotic gameplay while recreating its graphics to meet modern standards. The sequel will remake 2006's Destroy All Humans! 2, which introduced new features like new weapons to wield and a co-op multiplayer mode. A recent preview of Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed reveals that the remake will bring back these beloved mechanics while adding new features like character skins and saucer customization.

A new trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed, posted to YouTube by publisher THQ Nordic, puts a focus on the remake's couch co-op mode. The original version of the game introduced this multiplayer feature, but the sequel's modern remake will adjust the visuals of the split-screen mode. Both players now share a single mini-map, which is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. The top right corner, meanwhile, displays the alien duo's objectives. This lets both Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed players share resources, though the objectives list sadly wastes significant space on the screen.

While Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed will let players engage in couch co-op, the multiplayer Destroy All Humans! game Clone Carnage lets players engage in even larger cosmic competitions. Offered as a pre-order bonus for the remake, the stand-alone DLC lets up to four players engage in a handful of different game modes across six different maps. Players can compete in Rampage, Armageddon, Race or Abduction to test their alien abilities, with multiple outfits allowing for in-depth Crypto customization. Destroy All Humans! - Clone Carnage also has a couch co-op option, allowing two players to play in a split-screen setup.

The Destroy All Humans! series puts a clever twist on the open-world genre by letting players control a sarcastic alien soldier rather than a human criminal or cowboy. The sequel's couch co-op made wreaking havoc across the open world even more fun, and Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed will recreate this staple system. While the new split-screen layout is quite different from the original, co-op gameplay still seems to deliver the original game's chaotic fun.
