Demon Slayer Could Make History Again

Movie Trilogy Could Top Mugen Train's Success

Although this news was already leaked prior to the official announcement, it has been confirmed following the finale of the Hashira Training arc. Demon Slayer already made history once with the Mugen Train movie becoming the highest-selling anime movie of all time, so this decision makes complete sense.

Furthermore, the Infinity Castle arc is the most action-packed in the series, so giving it movie-level production and animation will undoubtedly exceed the hype and anticipation of all the previous Demon Slayer installments.

What makes this news great is that Ufotable has already done a trilogy movie once before, and it was one of the most breathtaking anime movies ever. The Fate Heaven's Feel movies are some of the studio's finest works, and if the Demon Slayer trilogy is as good, it will no doubt shatter box office records again.

The Infinity Castle arc will see the Hashira and the Demon Slayer corps take on Muzan and his highest-ranking demons in an all-out war. This will by far be the bloodiest and most violent arc, and the Sunrise Countdown arc that will follow will take it up a notch, making these Demon Slayer movies a guaranteed must-see at the cinema.
