Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Trilogy Reveals First Epic Trailer

The First Film Will Make Its Way to Theaters in 2025

First announced back in June 2024 right after the end of season four, the revelation that the Infinity Castle Arc would be split into a film trilogy was quite unexpected with many fans divided on the matter. Above all, fans feared that the movie trilogy would take too long to release, stretching the exciting finale across several years. Fortunately, the latest trailer for the Infinity Castle Arc has put these concerns to rest, revealing the first film is coming as soon as 2025.

The trailer mainly features the conversation between Muzan and Ubuyashiki from the final episode of season four, as well as various clips of the main trio and the Hashira from various crucial moments in the series so far. This is followed by the scene of Tanjiro and the Hashira charging towards Muzan before being transported to the titular Infinity Castle, ending the trailer on an exciting note.

While the new trailer does not contain any new, content that fans have never seen before, it has successfully reignited excitement surrounding the release. More importantly, with the first film set to release sometime in 2025, it may not be too long till teasers with fresh content from the arc are released.

That said, besides the trailer, a stunning new teaser visual has also been revealed. The visual features a crow flying into the maze-like interior of the castle towards a light at the end, as well as the catchphrase for the arc, "The battleground is set."

Demon Slayer's Infinity Castle Arc Has Big Shoes to Fill

Overall, as the epic conclusion to the series, the expectations surrounding the Infinity Castle trilogy are sky-high. That said, Ufotable has done an excellent job with the series so far, with every new season being better than the last. Demon Slayer has also had tremendous success with theatrical releases in the past, with the Mugen Train Arc being a prime example. As such, there is no doubt that the Infinity Castle Arc will also be a treat to behold, more so in cinemas.
